It depends on what LED is flashing and what color the flashing LED is. This is a good guide to flashing LEDs

Don't worry too much about the model number used in the article. Dell tries to make their diagnostic codes standardized
If it fell down, you changed hard disk and still get message "Herd Disk Not Found", probably you've got a problem in your Motherboard.. Take it ro a repair technician Hope you still have old hard disk. Check it as external disk on some other computer, maybe it's good!.
It really depends on the type of equipment you have. Does your laptop have a HTML port? And does your TV have a HTML port? You can google your Dell laptop on how to make the config settings for displaying on an external monitor (TV) for your particular laptop model. I have done it with the VGA port to an external monitor very easily. The HTML will need some special settings depended on how old your laptop is. Good luck.
Plug a monitor into the video connector. Right click on your desktop, select Screen Resolution, and then using the setup panel, identify your external monitor and finish the setup.
Hi Anonymous,

Gerard D Gilles,
You will need to contact Dell Support and have them reset the system bios password if you have forgotten it. They will verify ownership of the system and then provide you with reset information.
Thank You,

Hi Collyod,

Assuming a couple of things:
1. Your OS is Windows XP
2. This is the error message you are getting -
"Windows NT could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
Winnt_root\System32\Ntoskrnl.exe
Please re-install a copy of the above file."
To reinstall notskrnl.exe, do this:
Start the computer by using your Windows XP CD-ROM. Press any key to boot from the CD.
After the setup files are finished loading press R to repair using Recovery Console.
When you are in the recovery console, select the installation to log on to (usually number 1), and then press ENTER.
Login to the Administrator account by typing the password for this account, and then press ENTER.
At the recovery console command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
For Uni-Processor systems:
expand <cd-drive>:\i386\ntoskrnl.ex_ <hd-drive>:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
For Multi-Processor systems:expand <cd-drive>:\i386\ntkrnlmp.ex_ <hd-drive>:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
Note In these two commands, the <cd-drive> placeholder represents the drive letter of your CD drive, and the <hd-drive> placeholder represents the drive letter of the hard disk on which windows is installed.
If you receive a prompt to overwrite the file, press Y.
Hi Robert Middlemiss,
Dell Latitude systems usually have a WIFI button so even if you remove the Wi-Fi toggle the computer needs to connect to Internet without any issues. However, please explain more about the same so that I can help you more.
Thanks and Regards.
