How do i reset a eee pc 901
To reset my 901 XP, I remove the battery as shown on page 3-3 of the instruction manual.
The reset button can now be accessed: it is a small shiny metal
plate, about 3mm by 15 mm located on the left of the battery compartment (closest to the LAN port).
Press the metal plate once with a ballpoint.
Reset power button
Not behind the battery.
In the middle panel on the bottom in a tiny hole.
Use a paper clip to push it, hold fo10 seconds.

How to Free up low disc space on asus 901?
Open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Disk Cleanup, and then, in the list of results, click Disk Cleanup.
In the Drives list, click the hard disk drive that you want to clean up, and then click OK.
In the Disk Cleanup dialog box, on the Disk Cleanup tab, select the check boxes for the file types that you want to delete, and then clickOK.
In the message that appears, click Delete files.
Can i do system recovery
Generally, most "System Recovery" processes involve re-imaging the system from a stored backup image of the system. This process normally overwrites the entire HDD including your data. So before running a recovery, I'd backup anything important.

As if the wireless of ASUS notebook computer has two switch. You enable it in windows device manager. It is the one switch of them. But maybe it doesn't work. The other switch is on you computer's pad, near the keyboard. If you didn't find it,I suggest that you use Intel wireless control program to control you WiFi.

If you can't do that, on boot you machine should tell you what other option you have-like"push ESC button to aces setup" or something like that. Hit that button and go to RESTORE function.Good luck and Happy Holidays!
On my daughters Asus Eee
It's possible that the disk-drive inside the computer has failed.
So, the copy of Windows stored on the disk-drive cannot be read, and Windows cannot start-up.
Take the computer to a qualified technician, for trouble-shooting (which may include replacing the disk-drive).
Is it still under warranty? (Was it purchased with a credit-card that automatically doubles the length of the warranty?)
