If you have gone to the wrong country website they will not have the
support files for your model. You should be able to get the wifi drivers
from any of the LG websites.

You should be able to look on the bottom of the laptop and somewhere it will say Atheros
on a sticker that shows the wifi certification. If that doesn't work out then your best bet is to
go to LG and use the online help there. They should be able to tell you what you have and what you need and how to get it. Your model may be not listed or use the same drivers as another model. Even if your laptop has been out of warranty for a while they will still help.

if you have picture dektop bakground, what is the size of picture.. if this big resolution of course heavy to open or load.. ..make it small resolution of you wallpaper

to solve this problem u jsut go to following page

I know this sounds a bit obscure but try following these excact steps.


shut down the computer.
remove battery and ac
reinsert ac
turn on computer and imediatly press F2 several times to access BIOS.
go furthest right in the menu and choose to "set default valuse"
save and exit.
boot up computer completly
shut it down again
insert battery
boot up
try the YouCam software wich should now activate the camera and make the led light up orange.

Check first that it is not a problem with slow connection, and that internet is working properly.

If you have at least 1 GB RAM, and you took care of the hard drive, then you can check the process starting up on their own and remove the useless one, or spot mala-ware that can affect speed. You can use a software like Hijack This, and search on google te function of each process started on the list reported by the software.

Be careful if you delete the wrong files using this software you can harm the system, and Windows may not work properly.

If you think you have malaware you can also install Spy Bot, and do a system scan. Download Spybot from The home of Spybot.

If all the above does not work, and there is no malaware, then you usually reinstall the system.

Check also the bios settings, BIOS can downgrade the CPU speed on default , even if this is uncommon on recent BIOS.

If a computer is still slow with a fresh system and enough resources then it is one of those rare occasions when you have an hardware fault.
Hardware that can cause slow down is: RAM CPU Motherboard HD Video card.

Some tips on procedure can damage your windows installation. Do not download Hijackthis software and do not change BIOS settings and do not touch hardware unless you are sure of what you are doing

Hi you need to restore the laptop to its factory defaults, consult your manual.

It sounds like it may be a hardware issue. If you can connect an external keyboard for a couple of days to see if the issue persists. If it does not, then you may have something in the keyboard on the laptop causing an issue. Try using a compressed air can or a keyboard vacuum if you have one to clean it out.

1) you may check your laptop back cover there is a microsoft windows lable with CDkey, if so you may find any OEM windows disk to do installation.
2) can not find the lable, you need find a computer company to do a OEM installation more cheaper.

if it is showing you that the files are corrupt it is possible that the disk you are trying to use is either dirty (clean with a little white spirit and then gently dry with a cotton cloth) or is scratched. In which case certain files that are needed may not be able to be read correctly.

On xp click 'start'  'control panel' 'language options' than click the second tab called languages, than check the boxes and click ok.

Hi,
If you go to Control Panel > Sound, then click on the speakers and click Properties, there should be an enhancements tab, where there will be a box that you can tick for Loudness Equalization. Then click Apply.
If you play a song or a video while you do this, you'll really notice the difference it makes.
I tend to enable Virtual Surround too, just for the cool effects during some movies..
