Has there been any damage to the notebook. I.E. you dropped it or liquid spilled on to it?

You need to have a Windows XP SP2 bootable disc. Just go to BIOS and enable the boot from CD/DVD Insert the Windows XP disc It will boot with the bootable disc and you just need to follow the on screen instructions. You will need to format the HDD and do a clean installation which will result in data loss. Please make sure that you take a backup of all your important data files before changing the operating system.

Some computers come with a recovery partition so you can hit a function key at startup to go to system recovery.
Otherwise, you'll have to find a Windows disk and reinstall the system. The disk must be from the same O/S (like XP Home, etc) and you then use the installation code that is affixed to your computer case.
There is another way, but you have to be very comfortable using the command prompts and working in DOS mode. That's quite a process and we won't go into it here.
I'll post a "how to" on my profile later.

You mean, your keyboard not functional well? Dust or wet substance is the cause of that. Bring it to the nearest LAPTOP REPAIR SHOP for keyboard repair or replacement.

You can get some PTFE precision fluid from Maplin / RS / Ebay that helps to calm noisy fans. Worked for my old MSi netbook machin. You may be able to get a new fan from ebay etc.

I think this is a bios problem. Locate the bios lithium cell and replace it and try again

Yes it has Wi-Fi. go to control panel/ network connections right click your wireless connection and view available wireless network

bottom-left, bottom-right).

If your keyboard has an ALT GR ("Alternate Graphic") key,
and some keys have *MORE* than *TWO* labels, e.g., Euro & Dollar & '4', then hold-down the ALT GR key, touch the '4' key, and release the ALT GR key.

Hello,

This seems to be a overheating issue.You will have to chak the fan and get it cleaned.

It might be dependent on usage as well.If you are using it on any uneven surface or on the bed then ventilation will not be proper so always use the notebook on any plane surface only.

Try reinstalling the camera driver. You can download the drier from the manufacturers website..

Try reinstalling your webcam drivers that came with it. If you do not have them, you can try to download them from the LG website or use a driver finder program.
