If you have catalyst control centre running go into the settings for basic video in it and make sure it's not set to custom

Make sure that the mouse is plugged into the the correct port. If the mouse you are using is a USB mouse then try other USB ports. If it is another type of mouse that uses a different plug, then try all the ports on your computer that it fits into until it works. It sounds unprofessional but it should work.

If none of this works then put in the CD that should of come with you mouse and install the drivers for your mouse. If you cant find the disc for your mouse then go online to the manufacturers website and you should be able to download the drivers there.

If you are downloading from the browser saving the file and not selected where to save, look @ the temporary folder. Go to Start|Run| {type %temp%}. When Explorer opens, look for music files. Or do a Search on %temp% folder. If you want mp3 use 8.mp3, for jpg use *.jpg. For all use *.*
