It is quite simple really. You have to locate the SIM tray on the phone itself. Look for a small door and possibly a small pin size hole next to it. Get yourself a paper clip and use it to open the tray by inserting it into the pin hole. This should release the tray to expose the SIM card and then you can replace it.

If this was salt watercor contaminated water, then the only chance is to immediately remove the battery and rinse the Phone several times in clean pure water to remove the conductive salt / contaminated water.
