To do a hard reset on your Nokia:

Just press simultaneously these 3 buttons: on/off + * + 3

*make sure you save backup all your important information

Tray to format your phone by your fingers.make sure your phone battery full charge,shut down your phone. Now press and hold * button,number 3 button, Call(green) button,power on button.Hold your fingers till your phone are twinkling.if succes your phone will appear Town name and choose one based where are you stay.Before you do formatt,for safely back up your important data like phone contact to memory card.Good luck..

Please remove the memory card, restart the phone and see if this fix or not. If it does, then there's problem with the memory card, perhaps it's been infected with virus. sorry about that. its quite hard these days. but Just inform your service provider, give them all the details. they will block it for you using its serial number.

you can install sis (version S60v3) applications and themes in your n73..

simple solution... just delete some unwanted/not useful files or data on your N73. if it has a memory card, try get a new 1 for another memory storage...

For updating your firmaware of Nokia N73

You need to Download The following tools

1. Nokia Pc Suite
2. Nokia Software Updater

or else Nokia Ovi Suite

But i Will say the methods using Nokia software Updater

• Download Nokia pc suite from

Install Nokia pc suite then Nokia software updater


It will ask for your PC to restart
Continue ,then Select Nokia software updater .
Connect your phone

It will Find out the connected phone

Before Proceeding further: A Word of CAUTION:

• Your phone will be useless when updating failed in the Middle of updating due to System Restarts or Internet Connectin Failure or Cable Disconnection
• So consider in mind that
  

U Need

• An UN interrupted internet connection
• Do not disconnect the Data cable after full installation of new firmware

The solution to your earlier problem of phone's slowness is to re install the firmware as it has got corrupted somehow. May be a virus. In that case if you reinstall the firmware, the entire firmware would be rewritten and thus the virus would be eliminated.
Regarding the password to your memory card, you must format it in a computer and then use it on the phone. Password once given has to be remembered and supplied when asked for. There is no shortcut to password. And you have to lose data if not supplied. So format it and do not use a password in future.
