Sounds to me like a microphone issue. Try contacting the Cellular Dr./ Cell Phone Dr. , or Cell Phone Repair.com. They both do excellent work as far as cellular phones go. I am a Satellite Phone Technician, although I have done alot of Cell phone service and repair as well. yes and no you can save the contacts to the sim card but you cannot save the calender events to the card cause its only for contacts just go to the contacts and look for something like save contact to sim hope this was helpful:)

open up the back of your phone, look at the slot where you put you sim card, try to elevate it just a little just to make sure the contact point touch the sim card, try to clean your sim card with pensil eraser and wipe it with clean clothe,then insert it and open it..

Contact the service provider (AT&T, Verizon, etc) of the phone you're using. They'll provide you with the unlock code which will enable you to use it on the new carrier.

you can get your puk code from your sim company.This is not your mobile code but this code is enabled by your sim due to entering wrong code more than three time..call your sim helpline to get puk code

copy the files to your computer... remove the memory card then copy the files to the phone... you may run into some errors so keep a back up of the phone files

Normally you will need to be in the store, enter the wrong number couple times, when it ask you for puk, you will need to ask your rep for the puk code it will be provided by them, once they enter it it will aqsk you for the new code. never enter your own code when asking u for puk code\! hope this is help.
