Boss Micro BR Digital Recorder Questions & Answers
Boss BR900CD External MIDI
I'm not totally familiar with that Boss Digital Audio Workstation but it sounds like what you want to do is record both the music and vocal track at the same time. If that's the case I believe you can push both "Line" and "Mic" input buttons (perhaps not exactly named as such) at the same time to record both simultaneously. Otherwise I would suggest copying the music to it's own stereo track (or two individual tracks, each panned opposite from one another to maintain stereo) and then record your vocal track separately. That way you can record several takes and edit down the best parts to one final track.
I hope that helps.

They should be commercial screws, probably metric. You would need to find out the pitch (with a gauge), diameter, length and head type from one of the other screws. Usually all Boss products share parts, so the parts could be scavenged from an old, useless pedal. The missing knob, too. As for the internals and electronics, take it to a tech. Amp techs sometimes accept checking pedals.

I asssume you have ti connected to a mixer/amplifier as you have to have some sort of sound reproduction system connected. If you are going through a computer, you have the computer settings set improperly.
I'm trying to burn a
"it never works"... this is NOT enough information for us. You are not telling us how the CD is tested. If you are testing it in a boombox type player, that is not a test. First thing is to look at the bottom of the CD to see if you can detect written tracks... with right lighting you can tell if it has been burned. REMEMBER that CD's, unlike phonograph records, are written from the middle outward. Many consumer players have trouble playing CD's that are written but not "finalized". If you CAN see written area (compare to unburned CD) then likely the burning is taking place, and the problem is the format is either not complete or incompatible with your player. Try reading the disk in your computer. Also you might want to visit the forums for the Boss/Roland workstations at VSPLANET.com.
Dear friend,
Could you help
Make sure the memory card you use is a MAXIMUM of 1 Gb as larger cards are not supported. Yes, the smaller cards are getting hard to find.
Ive just bought a faulty
It is impossible for us to know what damage may have been done... Repair on this would likely involve changing of surface mounted components which takes a lot of skill. This is probably going to require repair at the factory.
When I try to export
Hello there,
My dear friend, if you are trying to export a song from your device to the computer and it is not going or nothing happens. First check the computer if the song have not been transferred already. Then does the exporting leaves the exporting page after coming up with the exporting message?
First turn off the computer and turn it on back, then you connect the device to the computer. Once the computer reads the device, you will be able to open the file from the my computer page, go there and open the generic location i.e (F:) or (G:) depending on the port you got it connected to.
Then you open the files on it, check for the 78v2 track you want to export to the computer, then you copy it to the location of choice on the computer, where you will always have access to it.
That way, you will be able to move tracks from your device to the computer with ease.
Hope this helped.
Goodluck

I am unable to change
The buttons on these small recorders are VERY tender and pressing too hard can damage or even break the soldering to the circuit board. You will need to take unit for repair.
I can not download off
Moost of these will only use a max card of 2Gb. There are some conversion programs. There was a lot of discussion at one time on Vsplanet dot com about these units if the site is still active.
I had recorded 16 complete
A very important thing when using these recording devices is to PROPERLY close the media. I would not panic at this point. Search for a forum regarding the Boss Micro BR and ask there as somebody may be able to help you recover the data. Read up on your manual about shutdown. I have Tascam recorders and I prefer to stop the recording and then when it is done I turn power off before removing the media. You may have to use a special procedure when introducing the nearly full card... even forcing it to load.
My Micro BR just switches
I suspect your power adapter is not working well... maybe connector problem or other problem. It may be reverting to battery which may be depleted.
Getting unsupported format on my
Format the media using the recorder. There are some special programs around to convert the data. These proprietary formats are a problem when not formatted on the Micro BR itself.
