My Toshiba Dynadock DVI has

NO FUN! I suspect your power supply MAY be your problem? As supplies age the capacitors inside begin to filter the DC poorly! Stray AC voltage (or AC content from your supply) will/can drive your components inside your Dock crazy with AC hum as false data? Looking at the photos for your Dock I see your provided power supply does not look too beefy for all it must support? TEST with another well filtered supply... Next check the PINS INSIDE your male connectors! Make sure none are pushed into it's body ~ below it's mates? Also check the FEMALE connectors too ~ looking for broken MALE pins still inside the female connector bodies? Finally try new cables? Hope this helps! Dynadock all the sudden slowing my down my system

Well, without any further information like OS version, etc I'm just going to give the standard Windows response. Uninstall the Dynadock software and drivers. Then follow this link to Displaymate, http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=297 to completely remove the core software. Then download and install the latest drivers from Toshiba for your Dynadock and you should be good to go. If this doesn't work then it's a USB issue.

No sound from external speakers with toshiba dynadock

if using XP, go to start control panel , sound and audio devices.Under the audio tab make sure the C Media CM106 sound device is selected under sound playback. Then under the volume tab set the volume somewhere in the middle or at the top if you don;t have active speakers . Then Under Speaker settings advanced, make sure the speaker setup is set to Laptop Stereo speakers. Also make sure the speaker volumes are up on the speaker volume button. click ok. If no result check that the cm106 sound decvice was cemented in as I saw it dissaper when I thought i had slected it. I think the key thing here is the device and the laptop speakers setting.

No sound coming through Toshiba Dynadock station

Try to plug in the speaker jack to Headphone jack on you laptop not to your docking station. So the desktop speaker is treated as an external average speaker. GoodLuck!

Internal speakers on toshiba laptop sound muffeled

the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer or to if a laptop on the side you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good or you might have to clean the dust from your computer dust causes static which causes your computer to overheat and all sorts of problems be sure to wear an anti static earth strap before touching anything inside your computer try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor or a can of compressed air making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your SOUND CARD dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems hope this helps

Sound coming through Dynadock is all static with faint sounds?

I had the same problem. I went to the Toshiba sight and downliaded all the drivers for Windows 7. I loaded the new dirvers. The first time that I restarted the laptop I had the same result. I turned off the computer overnight. When I came into the office this morning and turned on the computer it resumed audio without the static that you would normally hear whether with system sounds or the media player. It absolutely has to do with the drivers since the headphone jack works (dynadock not in the loop). I would reccommmend not just restarting but turnung the Laptop off and restarting.

Cannot get the video driver

If you go to this page and select the exact dynadock by model#, you can view the drivers available by operating system and see if there's XP supported driver. If so, you can download by saving to desktop and then run the file.

Dynadock not working charging

First of all, check the voltage in the dock. Secondly, clean the terminals with a qtip or pencil eraser, ensuring they are clean and have no oxidation. Do the same for the unit. the battery in the unit could be bad, so that would be the next thing to check. After charging, measure the battery to see if it took a charge. Any internal problem will require disassembly, and I couldn't find any information or service information on this unit.
Hope it's something simple.
