The CD is loose in the drive. You need to remove the CD drive from the computer and then remove the metal case off the drive then you can remove the CD. Put the metal case back on the drive and install the CD drive back into the computer.

It seems that hard disk security password has been set from BIOS. This can be removed from BIOS, can you access BIOS or is it also password protected?

you can connect to internet and follow the procedure : - go to --- my computer > right click on it > go to properties > device manager > click on the computer name shown in device manager screen >click scan for hardware changes > then the driver will install automatically .

try hitting f8 as your BIOS screen appears and start into safe mode to see if the same problem occurs if it does not then it is infection related.

you may have to send it in to dell, they do have jumpers you can "jump" but nowadays laptops moved away from that and use capacitors now which jumping or shorting capacitors can screw the motherboards up "possibly" safest way is to send it in.

The most likely thing is that you need to adjust your power savings settings on the computer in Control Panel. Watching a movie doesn't register as "activity" to the system so if you are set to Sleep or Hibernate after an hour that would typically cut you off half way thorught the movie.

You can change the power savings settings or every 30-40 minutes move the mouse around or click the keyboard etc. to restart the timer.

there is no such thing as dell master password......even if there is: one can't get his/her hands on it via a tech website. probably safe guarded by the dell president and a few chair members

If you email dell with that number they will send you a password to get through it.

open the back panel of your your laptop and try to find out the Cmos batter inside it, remove it for atleat 2-3mins and put it back, or may find written RTC on the board with two small dot on it, just take screw drive and touch both the dot for a while. by doing this your password must have gone. But remember to remove your backup battery and adapter before doing all this.

Try to clear your temp files. press the windows key+r then type temp. Delete everything thats deleteable on that folder. Close the folder and then press the window key + letter R again. type %temp% on the run box and delete everything deletable there as well. run an anti malware program such as malwarebytes.
