Noise from the indoor unit of Mitsubishi MS09TW

My unit is a 3 year old Mitsubishi and it started making the humming noise you described. It is quite high and I finally got up on a ladder to have a look. It is the water pump making the noise in my case. It seemed like it was pumping a little too much water out. I undid a screw and angled the pump slightly and problem solved. hope this makes sense and helps a little.

Please remove power from the unit and allow the processor to reset as it seems that it has hung up. Also press down all keys on the pads to drainoff residual voltage on the circuit.
Now connect the plug back after few hours and check.
If the fault recurrs then it is possible that the is a failure in the circuit due to the power outage.
Need to check if the compressor/fan is faulty .

Hi, it sounds like you may have lost the blower motor due to the power surge. Normally, it would kick the breaker off.The code is just telling you something is not right as you know. You can try turning off the breaker to the indoor unit for 10 minutes or so, and reset it to see if the blower will start. If you have the manual, that might tell you what the code or light is. Its more then likely a 220 volt indoor unit. Sometimes on a double pole breaker, only one half of it will trip in a power surge. Check to see if this is the case, as you may only be getting 120 volts to run the vanes. If its half way tripped, turn it off hard, and back on hard. that may be your problem. If not, call the service tech, and just tell him it stopped working. He will come out at know charge to you. I bet its your breaker though. Please let me know.
Sincerely,

WHAT THE LOW SICE PRESSURE SHOULD BE WITH CERTIAN OUTDOOR TEMPS, You can pic out a temperature chart and I will tell you this but beware, things that are wrong in the system can effect the pressures so you might get false readings.
THE MEATERING DEVICE,WHAT TELLS IT TO OPEN AND CLOSE. If its a cap tube metering device nothing tells it to open, if its a thermostatic expansion valve then the outlet line temperature of the evaporator tells it when to throttle. Hope this helps.

It sounds like you have too much air conditioner vs. conditioned space. This would cause dripping and short run times. Air conditioners are designed not only to cool the house but to pull the moisture out, if it is too big and cools the area too fast the outside of the ducts will begin to collect condensation like the outside of a cold glass of water.

Is this a heat pump? If maybe in the defrost mode. If you have the book on it, it should tell you what is going on. If not do a Google search for a manual and read up on it.
