What is the solution to a printer when a message like 21.1:03 appears on the screen?

That is a service station shutdown failure. Replace the Service Station, if that doesn't solve the problem, replace the PrintMech PCA.

HP designjet t1100ps error 21:13

This is a service station error indicating that the printer could not move the pirnthead mechanism over the service station. First check to see if there is anything in the carriage path such as a piece of paper blocking the carriage. If there is not then it is likely a bad service station that will require replacement. Always try powering pirnter off then on to see if it was temporary error.

Hp designjet t1100 blank hard drive installation beware spam number 1*800*532*4187

Hello. Designjet T1100 disk failures are pretty common. HP has made it difficult to do anything with their HDDs by securing them with passwords. When a new HDD is installed, it also takes on the ID of the plotter and refuses to work in any other plotter from then on. LPS Computer has T1100 hard disk drives that have been modified to install and work properly and they cost less than HP is asking. They can be seen here: http://www.lpscomputer.com/collections/designjet-t1100-t1120-parts

I am receiving error message of : 86:01 Possible paper jam

Most times when this error occurs it is because of one of three things: 1. Paper jammed in the carriage path that prevents the printhead from moving all the way from left to right. Check closely on the far left and right as paper can be pushed into the interior of the printer by the service station. 2. The printhead cover was not closed properly and the metal ring that that the blue handle is supposed to engage in is catching on the side of the printer. 3. The drive belt has either come off the track or broken. Open the lid and check the black rubber belt that drives the printhead assembly. It should be taunt. If it is loose there is a problem. I have had several 1100 series designjets throw their belt off the tension pulley. You can sometimes reseat it but my experience is that it will get thrown again. If you replace the belt, replace the tensioner at the same time.

I just replaced the ink tube system in my HP T1100 Ps, an i get to the point to prime the system by letting the ink flow with no air bobbles. how can I set that option to do so? i have 3 orange prime

The priming option should be in the service menu. Typically you start the priming operation and the plotter will prompt you to install the startup heads (orange). Make sure you have no low cartridges or the operation might fail, although I believe the system will tell you if any ink tanks are too low to prime.

Hp designjet 800 does not recognize black cartridge.

it is quite common for the chips on the ink/printrhead cartridges to fail, I would recommend you contact the supplier and inform them of the failed chip and they will likely send a replacement, unfortunatly there is no other way round this other than to have the cartridge replaced, again. if however after the second cartridge faile to be recognised then the ISS Pca may need replacing but unlikely,
