No picture, green flashing power light. How bad is this?
The flashing indicates something is wrong (missing or bad) the fact you get the display means panel (main screen unit) is good. This suggests to be (instinct) the main board that processes all signal from all inputs is bad; it could be a missing voltage in the power supply but a check with a voltmeter would answer that. The problem here is you can check a few things and then you are in a position where you have to gamble and buy and try a board. It can get expensive to fix it this way---gone are the days of looking for one bad part (they only sell boards) and with that the lifespan of these (all brands Plasma and LCD etc) are 3 to 5 years.

I am trying to hook-up KLH pro 21 speakers to our
Where you plug in the speakers depends on many things like where is the source of the sound coming from? Is it a cable box? Do you want just the sound from the tv itself to come to your speakers? If you want the sound of the cable then you need to connect them to the out going leads on the back of the cable box.
The tv probably has a small button some where on the back to use external speakers. If your running the cable signal into the tv, turn on the external speaker option and then use the out going leads to send the signal to your speakers. There may also be a signal input/output choice in your tv settings. click on the different choices of in put to see if you hear through the speakers to figure out which one is for them. The choices are usually listed as AUX, Antenna 1, Antenna 2, ect.

Plasma and LCD TV sets are prone to having capacitors in the power supply section fail. This is the most likely cause for the probem you describe. When capacitors fail your will commonly see one or more of the following symptoms.
- No video, Power light is on or blinking.
- TV is making a clicking noise.
- TV takes a while to come on
- Screen is very dim or flickers.
Again, You can get a power supply repair kit with the parts, detailed instructions, and support from sites such as www.TvRepairKits.com . Or just click here to see more details on their kit.
Here are pictures of capacitors...Notice that the ones below look bloated. They have failed and will need to be repalced.
Capacitor being replaced! Fairly easy DIY fix.

The tv powers up for
Good day.
This the procedure that you have to do.
- Remove the cover of your TV.
- Power on the TV to apply voltage data.
- Check the power supply output.5vdc for main board supply,12v for the sounds and 24vdc for back-light inverter.
- If any of the 3 supplies are missing or got a voltage drop, there's a problem with your power supply.Check some leak/bulging top capacitor.
- If the 3 supplies are OK,the problem is on the main board of your TV.Replace it.
I hope this solution will be helpful.Thank you for using FixYa.Good luck.

I am a service center
You must suspect the inverter p/s as you never have the proper 24v at all. How are all the other voltages? 5v? 12v?
Let me know.
Thank you
