Can i buy a 3d blue ray samsung dvd player and plug my HT-TZ315 unit speakers to it?

No. A stand-alone 3d player will not have an amp in it to power the speakers. You would be better off purchasing a new 3d surround system.

Picture freezes while dvd player playing

The problem is in the laser pickup assembly, the stepper motor that moves the laser is sticking on the worm gear or excessive ware on the gear linkage is preventing it from moving.

Surround sound system says protect

Generally speaking, an amp attempts to protect itself from heat, shorts, overloads and operator exuberance by refusing to turn on or stay on.

Overloads can be from excessive periods of high output or marginally low impedance loading by the speakers; and shorts would be wiring issues or a speaker blowing up.

You should be able to feel if it's hot. WHY is it overheating? Make sure it has sufficient ventilation on all sides and that vent holes are not blocked by dust balls. Ensure the fan (if equipped) is running as designed (some only operate on demand). Clean dust and debris from it.

If the amp comes back on after cooling, you're lucky. They only have so many self-protection cycles in their lives so continuously resetting or cycling their power without addressing the cause can do more harm than good.

If it protects immediately on a cool power up you should disconnect the speaker connections and try it 'naked'. If it comes up then diagnose which lead(s) are shorted. If it does not come up the problem is internal and should be left to an experienced and competent hands-on tech.

Check for loose speaker connections at the speaker as a root cause for intermittent shutdown.

Out of the four speakers i only three are working

take one of the working speakers and hook it to the output that is not working, this will determine if its a bad speaker or not. if it works then you know the speaker or wiring is at fault. also take the speaker and the wires from the one that isn't working and hook it to a good output and make sure that speaker and its wiring are good. if the output is bad the problem is within the amplifier system, could be a switch, could be output transistors, but now your going to be into money for an estimate from a repair center, i would suggest a local shop, unless this is a new and under warranty system, in which case you should take or send it to the for warranty repair, good luck.

Hi I just set up Samsung SWA-4000 and for some

Hi,

This means that its lost the connection to the wireless transmitter, the error means Rear CHK or check hence RCHK. Seems that if the unit is not quite in line of sight the connection can be flaky. I would check the positioning of the reciever. Try moving it, see if you cant get a better connection.

Have a bdp-1200 blu ray player and hooked up this

I would guess the receiver needs to be set up for 5.1. Do you have surround speakers defined and have you adjusted their levels?

Samsung SWA-4000 Wireless connection problem - Not connecting with main unit

I have had the same problem with the wireless unit and thought the same, it didn't work. The way to fix this is simple. You need to do the 0, 1, 3, 5 on the remote and turn on the home theatre system on the main switch on the front panel (as I was doing this on the remote, and it was failing). The blue light should then stay illuminated. If not just switch the main on/off button again, and it shoud work.

Just connected the SWA-4000 wireless

swa-4000 wireless module isn't compatible with htz310. You need to buy Samsung's swa-3000 to work with your htz310. I had the same problem. It tells you in your owners manual under conectivity where it explains about hooking up a wireless module(pg.55-60). I hope this helps.

I'm having problems getting my swa-4000 system to

With the home theater system off, press the 0-1-3-5 buttons in that order on the home theater's remote control.

Power on the home theater system.

With the wireless module on, press the [ID SET] button on the back of the wireless module for five seconds.

If your home theater continues to display rear check after you have tried the steps above, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.

Hope this helps!
