Sony IC Recorder (ICD-P620)
- I got this recorder for college. i read up on it to make sure that it works for vista home. It said it did so i opened it, know i couldn't return it if i opened it because i got it from the college book store.So it didn't work so i was very upset so i called sony to see what the problem was so the told me that all their products only work with a 32 bit operating system from vista and i have a 64 bit operating system there for it wont work for my computer and i cant return it and i cant get a refund so now im stuck with this junk i cant use. anyway to check if you have a 32bit or 64 bit operating system go to you start bar and right click on the computer button on the right click properties it should tell you there what you have if it said 32 bit i would call sony and have it repaired if you have a 64 bit take it back to the store you got it from it wont work
How do I put the recording into my mac on an mp3
The supplied Software with the IC Recorder is not compatible with the Macintosh Computer. Hence, it is not possible to transfer the recordings to the Computer using the USB Cable. However, you can connect the Headphone OUT of the IC Recorder to the LINE IN of the Computer. Then, use any Recording Software to capture the files.
Need drivers for windows 7
This IC Recorder is not compatible with the Windows 7, Vista and Macintosh Operating Systems and at this point of time, there are no Drivers available.
However, you can transfer the files by connecting the Headphone OUT of the IC Recorder to the LINE IN of the Computer. Then, use any Sound Recording Software. You can also use the Sound Recorder Software that is pre installed in the Windows Operating System.
