1. Make sure the answering system is ON. 2 . Press and hold the announce button until the speaker announces “RECORD ANNOUNCEMENT AFTER TONE“. 3 . Begin speaking after you hear the beep. 4 . plug another known working phone into this jack check for dial tone.if there the check settings and program on handset..

I think your messages reside on the base station. You shuld be able to retrieve the messages fropm any handset ...

Is your question "How do I get the messages on my home telephone from the office?"

You will have to read the secifics in your owners manual ... If you call 555-1234 from 555-5678 when 555-1234 answers, if you press a special code, you should be able to get your messages.

sounds like your phones have been exposed to moisture / water or something similar because it sounds like the ribbon that connects the display screen to the cpu has bad connections and or corroded connections...also these ribbon lines are very close to each other at the cpu side of the phone so any water/ moisture residue will short out some pins to each other and cause all kinds of weird effects like the one your having....I would suggest to have your phones looked at for water corrosion and if still able to..have the board cleaned with acetone or pcb cleaner and resolderd.....good luck

If you can't find your message, please call the business' phone company and ask them if there are multiple mailboxes linked to your business phone number.
