Toast lighter on one side how do you fix that
One of the heater panels is installed incorrectly, has a bad connection, or a nick in the heater wire leading to a hot spot there and cold elsewhere. Since it is new, take it back and get it exchanged.

Does not power up
Your heading coil has burned in two. With the machine unplugged. Check it between the blades of the plug with an ohm meter. If there is no reading there is no connection. Replace the coli. Checking between the plug blade and the coil terminal with the same meter will also check the electric chord for burned out condition.

Press start, lights up but shuts down after few minutes does not boil Why?
If it's consistently heating but shutting off early before boiling it likely has a faulty thermostatic (bimetal) switch. If it's random there could be other reasons.
