Ice maker kitchen aid kuic18nnts won't pump water over chill plate. Replaced circulating pump still no water.

Hi, Does the circulating pump- pump water? Remove the hose that goes to the spreader bar and run the unit again, if it moves water as a new pump should check for blockages in that hose and spreader tube. Get back to me if this doesn't work please. Personal email address [email protected]... I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gere_bf68e6055dd61249

Kitchen aid clean light keeps on red and machine doesnot make ice

Hi, This unit has a max ice run counter in the software, so after 500 cycles this unit requires you to run a clean cycle completely. After this is completed, it will rest and allow you to produce ice again, use nickel safe cleaner to do this or just run clean cycle without cleaner if unit is already clean. This cycle should last about an hour or so. Good Luck I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gere_bf68e6055dd61249

My undercounder KUIS18NNJB5 icemaker freezes successfully but the ice does not exit the freeze plate completely during the harvest cycle. When the next ice cycle starts, the ice refreezes to the plat

Hi, In the manual the fix is to clean the ice maker with cleaner. Your ice slab is not releasing during harvest. The plate (evaporator) has minerals on it and needs to be cleaned to remove the build up. On the door of the unit has cleaning instruction, do not short cut the cleaning process, this does take about an hour and follow the instruction to the letter. This is not a major issue, just cleaning is needed. I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gere_bf68e6055dd61249

Hi,Your cutting grid has a broken wire, to fixes for this issue, either replace the grid as a assembly or you can just replace the wire itself.Part number for the wires alone (4387020), for the entire grid (2313637).If you did just wires you could save about 100 bucks, i am nt a parts marketing person but these are the correct part numbers for this unit. Also check the grid itself for a broken wire, sometimes you can't see it unless you test it by pressing on every wire slightly to see it it is solid or broken.Good Luck, I hope this helps I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gere_bf68e6055dd61249

My stand alone kitchen aid icemaker is filling up

The drains on items like this get a sludgy residue built up in the drains. Make sure its clear. Empty the bin and you should see the drain port run a small amount of hot water in it. Not a lot as it could leak from the drain tray if it has one. If the drain is clear then it could be a nice maker issue where it's dumping too much water in the tray to harvest. Excess would spill over.

Kitchen aid ice maker full of water

Sounds to me like a water level sensor is not working causing water to overflow and flood the ice storage compartment. Try the diagnostics provided in the video above. Here is a link to a service manual=> HERE I am here should you have questions, Thanks Sea Breeze

Have kitchenaid undercounter ice maker,

on the right side of the ice bin and above the cutter grid are 2 sensor plugs, unplug the one towards the rear of the machine (usually has light brown w/red striped wires). if this does not fix the problem then replace the main control board and the transformer. Also the water doesn't go to the grid, it rolls across the evaporator, freezes a slab of ice that then slides down to the cutter grid. the cutter grid should be somewhat warm, it is what cuts the ice into the little squares. I've worked on these machines for around 7 years now and have only seen this problem once, this should fixya

My KUIC15prts2 is producing way too much ice.

there is a bin thermister, when you open the door look on the right side of the bin and you will see a white (L) shaped bar thant has wires connected above the cutter grid. the bar (bin thermister) is what senses the ice level, when ice reaches it the machine would turn itself off. replace this bin thermister. the part# is 2313633

My undercounter Whirlpool ice maker

when you first turn the machine on it will go through 2 fill cycles. turn the machine off, and drain the water reservoir. when you turn the machine back on the first fill cycle should fill the reservoir and over flow a little bit. If it does not overflow then you are not getting enough water (change the fill valve). If it does overflow on the first fill cycle, the the machine probably needs acid cleaned. the instructions on acid cleaning are usually on the door. I don't believe the computer board would be your problem here. Hope this helps, CLINT

MY IEMAKER IS STAND ALONE,

It amazes me that the supposed repair people don't realize you're talking about a stand alone machine. They keep talking about augurs and freezers which, of course, a stand alone does not have but a fridge does!
I have the same problem but my stand alone is on a houseboat which has us turning power from generator to shore power etc, that's when it seems to go to cleaning cycle. It seems to be related to power going on and off.

S, the interior light is timed. If you leave the door open for more than 5 minutes, it'll shut off automatically. Close the light switch manually (at the top up there) and hold for 5 seconds. After you release it, you may see a red LED where the clean light is... disregard for now.

Now replace all of the hoses you removed for cleaning. These can be cleaned using the "cleaning method" posted and labeled on the inside of you IM door.

Now go get some of this, or something similar and follow the cleaning instructions.

As an aside here... I ran a service call for a guy who did exactly what you did, except that he chose to go to Home Depot and get all new tubing. (!!!!) Well, the tubing didn't fit and even if it di it was routed improperly. Then he called me to come fix it.

Close to $200 later everything was back to normal. All he had to do in the first place was to maintain his IM like it was a swimming pool. Get the right chemicals and use them as instructed on the label.

Please don't misunderstand. I'm not scolding or anything like that... it's just that sometimes the simplest approach is the best approach. Your high dollar IM is a complicated and computer controlled piece of equipment, when you start pulling the guts out, the "brain" has a difficult time interpreting what your doing, that's all.

Let us know how it goes. If there are any additional symptoms, please let us know immediately.

I have an undercounter KitchenAid Icemaker, Model

The answer is very simple for bothe questions.
Fist of all the use of cleaning solution with the auto cleaning is suposed to be for the cleaning and at the same time sanitising the machine and storage bin.
The end cycle of the auto cleanig is a rencing with fresh water so to remove any remainings of the above solution for all over the machine.
If you see any liquid at the end of the cleaning cycle if it is clear is onle water since even the small amount of solution to be mixed with water you could see some color reflections from light.
So if its crystal crean the is onle water.
So as you may undestant if you have any doubts that their are solution remainings then if you deside to re-run the cleaning cycle then you will not use any moe solution so the machine parts are qrystal crear.
Second the idea of drain the bottom of the pan is recomented so not to have the remaining water with the ice that will be produced.
Hope this help you, good luck
