I am having difficulty with my washer. once i put

If your washer just keeps filling it and the pressure valve is not to blame I would suggest that your tube coming off of the pressure valve might be blocked or partially blocked. If you have hard water where you live try taking off that line (it just pulls off fairly easy) and squirt some CLR into the tube. A good way to check to see if there is any restriction is when you take off that tube. You should be able to blow though it very easily.

Crosley CAWC529PQ1 won't turn on.

First, you'll need to make sure you have the proper voltage at the outlet, and the power cord terminals fit tightly into the outlet slots. Based on your post, you most likely have a faulty electronic control board. Here is the board to order.

seethis causes and fix it. God bless youUser Control and Display Board If the washer won't start, the user control and display board may be defective. Check for power to the washer first. Timer If the washer won't start the timer might be defective. This part is often misdiagnosed, check other components before replacing this time Line Fuse If the washer won't start the line fuse might have blown. Thermal Fuse If the washer won't start the thermal fuse may have blown. It can be tested for continuity. Watch our fuse testing video for more information. Line Fuse and Holder If the washer won't start the line fuse might have blown, or the line fuse holder might be damaged and need to be replaced. Main Control Board If the washer won't start the main control board might be defective. This is not common. Check other parts and causes first. Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly If the washer won't start the door lock assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design. Incoming Power Problem If the washer won't start check to see if there is power at the electrical outlet which the washer is plugged into. Plug a lamp or radio into the outlet to check it. If the outlet is dead, check the circuit breakers or fuses for the hom Power Cord If the washer won't start, check to be sure there is power to the electrical outlet for the home. If that is OK, the power cord itself might be defective. This is rare. You can check the power cord with an Ohm meter for continuity.

My crosley washer keeps popping my breaker

If your capacitor is shorted that could very well be it.

Service manual

Let me check service matters and see if their is a probo with these vertical modular washers:

Their is nothing about throwing the breaker, they make mention of broken lid switches and a bad counter weight which has been replaced by another component. Might be worth ******* about to your local appliance provider. If the cap turns out to be fine look for objects between tubs or a jammed water pump maybe. My wash leaks once in a while on the rinse cycle.

Take off the back panel then inspect to see where the leak come from. Sometimes it leaks at the hose connected to the water pump by a loose clamp, or a deteriorated hose end, then it can be an easy fix. If the leak is from the bottom center tube then the Nut seal at the bottom tube needs to be replaced. This is a hard job so the cost can be high while the part is not expensive. Good luck.

Pump runs continusly in spin

HI, i would advise to test the lid switch, if there are no grinding noises during the spin attempt. A defective lid switch will affect the spin/agitator cycle, dramatically.

The lid switch ensures that the lid is closed before enabling the machine to spin or agitate.

Aside from electrical problems, the switch may suffer from a mechanical problem. The lid may have a striker which depresses the switch when the lid is closed. Make sure the striker is functioning and aligned with the hole over the switch, properly. Inspect the switch and make sure the metal strip is not bent out of position (if present). If your switch uses a mercury switch, make sure the mercury envelops the internal contacts when it is in the closed lid position. Your switch may differ, so inspect it for proper operation before proceeding to the electrical testing.

There are two primary types of lid switches. One type on which you can directly test the terminals on the switch and another style where you have to test it at the wiring harness. In either case the method for testing the switch is the same. If a wiring harness is used, separate the two pieces of the harness and test the side of the harness that connects to the switch.

Test the switch for continuity using a multimeter. Set the multimeter to the ohms setting X1. Place a probe on each terminal. The multimeter should display a reading of infinity. Depress the button on the lid switch and the reading should change from a reading of infinity to roughly zero. If it does not pass both of these tests, the switch should be replaced.

Some lid switches also have a fuse, you can visually inspect the fuse or test it for continuity with a multimeter. If the fuse is bad, replace it with one of the same type.

NOTE_ If the lid switch is ok, this will lead to a failed control sector. The control sector can be a timer, or control board. Replace the control sector if the lid switch is ok, and operational.

Water won't stop filling up

there is a fault in the pressure switch, all machine have a pressure switch, this is normally a part about 5 to 8 cms in diameter and about 3 to 5 cms thick with a small pipe running down to the bottom of the drum or some part quite low on the machine that holds water. maybe a drain pipe the pressure switch is located near the top of the machine inside the cabinet somewhere you should be easily able to get to with the lid or back off THIS THIN PIPE could be BLOCKED or has been damaged, it works by the weight of the water pushing air up this pipe to activate the switch, if the machine has been laid down or tipped up it can sometimes be reset by draining every bit of water from the machine, first by pumping the normal way, then unplug from mains and remove a pipe from the pump and drain the last bit out, this sometimes lets the pipe reset itself best of luck, if i have helped please rate me

Crosley Professional Washer. Why is my washer stopping at beginning of fill cycle?

Question edited for clarity. 'field cycle' to fill cycle. Do you hear water running? Water inlet valve failed. or Taking too long to fill. Check the strainers in the rear where the hose connects and check water flow from the hose. Also try a power disconnect overnight to do a power reset of the control board. ============================================= If the cold water supply is slow or not entering the tub at all, the washer will stop ahead of the rinse cycle while waiting for the tub to fill. This can be caused by a clogged water inlet valve, the main water supply valve being partially closed, or low water supply pressure from the home.
