Howdy, as a do-it-yourself-er, I feel like I should be able to change a battery on a watch pretty easily, but i also have difficult to open model. I take mine to the pharmacy and they do it for the cost of the battery. Local hardware, and jewelry stores also do this. Some, few, areas still have watch repair shops ( best option). Some cases are pressurized, I understand.

mcdevito75 here, Just a guess, but here goes, press to make the chrono to work, now press to make it stop, now press that same button to have chrono return to zero. Hope this helps.

Type in your browser WATCH REPAIRS IN (your county, town) and you will see all available watch repair shops in your area. Visit any of them and ask to replace the crystal. Do not forget to take watch with you. Rate me, plz.

If you cannot snap the back on with your fingers the only safe way to get the back on again is to use a watch press. This is an expensive tool that most jewelers will have. I strongly recommend you take it to a jeweler (may want to call first to make sure their company will do it because most chain stores will not work on most brands). They should not charge you.If you are determined to do it yourself then you can try wrapping a wide pliers with duct tape or cloth and applying pressure on the front and back of watch to pop it on. WARNING: this is very dangerous for your watch. DO NOT apply pressure to the crystal, try to put the pressure on the stell lugs instead...
