WHEN I CONNECT THE FS200 TO THE COMPUTER TO
Apparently, the camera needs more than the 5 volts that the USB port provides (or the battery is empty). The power jack on the camera is located in a different place than the USB jack. Take a look:

CATALOGUE FOR CANON PAL MV400
I couldn't find a manual for the PAL version, but in the US, this model was the ZR20 and there is a manual available for viewing/downloading
here. Even though the NTSC format is different, I suspect that the operating procedures are pretty much the same.

Where I can find Canon FS20 serial number ?.
Open the battery cover on the bottom of the camera. The cover slides to the rear (away from the lens) then pivots up. The serial number should be on a plate just forward of the battery.

The manual says that when E is flashing to "Unload the videocassette once. Confirm that there is no problem with the tape (tape tension for example), then reload the videocassette and try to resume. I would suggest reloading a different tape. I have the same camera but am missing the RF adapter that plugs into the side. If you cannot get your camera to work, are you open to selling me the adpater?

Zr80 moisture problem solution ?
Friend,
Remove whatever you can without using a screwdriver, ie, battery and card etc. Then use your hair dryer on it without heat. Keep blowing air into it for sometime. You can do it in spurts too. Stop and go procedure. Then, reinsert all the items that you removed. Power on and see if you still get the moisture icon. If yes then you need to take it to a repair shop. The circuitry may be faulty.

I have a zr100 camcorder and I have a red flashing
On page 24 of the manuel it shows the symbol that you mentioned below the battery symbol. It's labeled item 4. Which states "flashes in red when the lithium button battery is not installed, or when it needs replacing". I guess you need to check the lithium battery with a voltmeter to see if it's any good.

My Canon MD205 won't charge up. All I had to do
Hello
Thank you for using FixYa for your problem
Always check the batteries first (check that the voltage is correct with a volt meter) but if is it still giving the same fault, your camera is faulty.
It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.
Anything is fixable but it is more "is it cost effective"
Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you
Thanks
