Windows 8 doesn't run Outlook Express. If you are having problems with an old Windows XP program, you are out of luck. You will need to buy a newer version of the program if it is available. Don't worry about hating Win 8, you aren't alone. Everyone hates it, even Microsoft.
FMNOT32
Copying the files will not necessarily work, certain registry settings etc will not be established. you may try to install the program (CreataCard Gold 3) using
compatibility mode and check if it can be installed. Access the link
below and follow the steps to manually change the compatibility settings
and install the program in compatibility
mode and check if it helps.

If the above steps do not work I would suggest you to contact

Start the "Windows Compatibility Wizard", and tell it that you want to install a "Windows XP" program. Windows 7 will then read the CD, and install the program, and run it in "XP" mode.

This is an old piece of software. You can try right clicking the program icon, going to properties, going to compatibility and attempt to run it in Windows XP or Windows 98 compatibility modes. This may not work as the program is listed as incompatible with Windows Vista 64.

You
can try to run the software in compatibility mode, which means that you
can tell Windows 7 to run the software as if it was any previous
version of Windows. To do this, browse to the setup.exe or install.exe
file on the disk, right-click and select "Properties". Go to the
"Compatibility" Tab, tick the box and select a previous version of
Windows - the back of the CD Case will tell you which is the best
version.

If a program cannot be run under Windows 7 because of compatibility issues you have to right click on the executable file that will start the application and click Properties. Select Compatibility tab and check the Windows version you know the program worked with before. You can find more about this Compatibility issue on Microsoft website http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows
