Crown CE4000 2-Channel Amplifier Questions & Answers
The power led light just blink they don't stay on
The amp is in "protect" mode. This means that a problem was detected internally and the output section is shutdown to prevent further damage. There are many possible causes of this. Crown amps are not the easiest to diagnose as many use mulitple voltage levels for different amplification stages. I would suggest that you obtain a repair estimate from an authorized Crown service center before proceeding.
Please keep us posted on your progres.

Will not go past fault red lights flash
Ths unit is in portect mode and requires service. These are not the easiest to work on as they contain multiple levels of amplification that kick in at different times. Search for an authorized service center for Crown amps. If you can not find one, please update this with your location and I'll try to locate a service center for you.

I have a crown ce4000
I believed you got 1 or 2 electrolytic capacitors were dry out so it missed 17V + or -- regulators in the preamp sections that why both side light are on If you go to 1 of the service center Crown in your town it would cost you between $100 to $200 I use Australian dollars
Crown ce 4000 amp wont work
Crown CE amps have a very decent service manual that give test points to check for faults. In these amps protect mode is a good sign that major components are not burnt out ie, (Transformer).
With a good Digital volt/ohm meter most common circuits can be checked against the service manual specifications. Usually in these amps the Zener Diode or Capacitors are the first to burn out along with cooling fans. That would be a good place to start.

Power Crown XTi 6000 activates protection and does not generate PWM what could it be?
The Power Crown XTi 6000 is a power amplifier, and it sounds like it is activating its protection circuit and not generating a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal. There could be a few different reasons for this behavior. Some possible causes include:
- Overheating: The amplifier could be overheating, causing the protection circuit to activate in order to prevent damage.
- Short circuit: There could be a short circuit in the amplifier, causing the protection circuit to activate.
- Input signal issue: The input signal to the amplifier could be causing the protection circuit to activate. This could be due to a problem with the source, such as a malfunctioning mixer or a disconnected cable.
- Output impedance or load mismatch: The amplifier may have a mismatch in output impedance or the load impedance which can cause the protection circuit to activate.
- Firmware or software issue : There could be a problem with the firmware or software that controls the amplifier, causing the protection circuit to activate.
Without more information, it's difficult to say for certain what the problem is. It's recommended to check the manual for troubleshooting steps and also check for any possible firmware updates. If problem persist it's recommended to take professional help.
Crown CDi 1000 amp thermal on
Google should have a manual for your 1000 amp thermal and also try on the companies official website too for a manual. Try searching on YouTube as well and YouTube should have videos about amp thermal on - Crown Audio Players & Recorders
