No sound from speakers or headphones fan not working gets warm

The Crown CE series of amplifiers have a 7 stage fan that runs as needed when the amplifier is working. Generally the fan is running at some point most all of the time, and you should be able to hear it ramp up as you push the amp to deliver more power. If the amplifier fan is not functioning, you may be in a thermal shut off mode that protect the amp from overheating by shutting off any signal. My advise would be to contact the manufacturer, and have it serviced.

Lights on, no sound. I have checked the obvious,

Have a look inside and see what the power amp consists of. You will find it located on a big heat sink. If you see a big IC with lots of legs it could be that has failed. Also look around for fuses.

Clip light will go on then goes off

The problem sounds like a dead short issue and the amp is in protection. Check cabling to make sure there are no crossed wires. You can also check by swapping channel 1 and 2 inputs and outs to see if the amplifier passes signal on the bad channel. Also could be an amplifier channel failure if it does not. Have serviced by an autorized service center.

I want the Amp diagram.

Hi,You can download the complete service manual including the schematic diagram also. Here is the link.Unfortunately there are many possibilities of faults and so I can not give you any solution. You should have given description about the problem. When you get to the site using the link it is possible that you have to wait a little bit to be able to download. After waiting you should see a button as "Get Manual" and simply click on it and save the file.Thanks.gylacz

Fault light on my crown ce 2000 is on both

It sounds like your output transistors are bad or power supply problems. You will need to have it serviced unless you know about electronics and how to repair them. Do not attempt this yourself unless you know what you are doing. It could be fatal.

How much watts is

Depending on the configuration of speakers you have it will deliver different amounts of power up to 1950 watts when used to power a single 4 ohm speaker. Typical usage would be powering a pair of 8 ohm speakers, in which case it will deliver 400 watts per channel/ speaker.

Is the fan on a Crown CE1000 to run all the time

The fan speed is dependent on the surrounding temperature.
It may be the temperature is just beneath the fan stalling speed
You can test this by heating up the amp a bit.
