Turn it off at the breaker and leave it off overnight. In the morning press and hold any button for 2 minutes. This fully dissipates any memory in the control board. The reconnect the power.

To change the thermostat on a Defy oven with the serial number DGS 158 AA 14 11 100288, follow these steps:
Disconnect the power to the oven by unplugging it from the wall outlet or turning off the circuit breaker that supplies power to the oven.
Remove the screws that secure the back panel of the oven to the frame. The back panel is typically located at the back of the oven, near the bottom.

The Thermocouple safety device needs replacing. The thermocouple usually has a pilot light deflector over it. Make sure it hasn't moved or fallen off, or rotted out.

Dependant on age and use, the piezzo cell is either clogged up with condensed cooking steam/grease or the control panel is faulty.
There is no adjustment unfortunately.
It helps to have FULL make and model, but here are a few.
F7 error code can be a result of a faulty wire harness (short-circuit), defective heating elements or oven sensor. A qualified service technician will need to have a look, determine faulty part then replace or repair it.Apr 27, 2023
