Will an oven gas/propane flash sometimes when igniter goes bad?
Question edited for clarity and replace words that don't exist :>D
It is more likely the thermocouple device, which is the safety device that allows the mains gas pressure to enter if there is a good flame to ignite the burner. It can flash whilst it is deciding.
It is a gas appliance so can only be worked on by a registered gas technician. Call for service.

My defy slimline stove top shows AF30 and won't work. How do I fix it?
The error code AF30 on a Defy slimline stove top typically indicates an issue with the stove's touch controls. Here are a few steps you can take to try and fix it:
- Turn off the stove top at the circuit breaker for a few minutes and then turn it back on. This can sometimes reset the touch controls and clear the error code.
- Check if any of the touch controls are stuck or unresponsive. If this is the case, try gently cleaning the area around the touch controls with a damp cloth.
- If the above steps do not work, you may need to replace the touch controls. This is a more complex repair and may require the assistance of a professional technician.
If the problem persists, it's best to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and fix the issue.

Howdens HJA 3300 oven. The clock is flickering. Should I be worried?
The flickering clock on your Howdens HJA 3300 oven could be an indication of an issue with the power supply or the clock circuitry itself. However, as the digits never disappear, it is possible that the issue is not serious and may not require immediate attention.
If the flickering only happens occasionally and does not affect the functionality of the oven, you may choose to monitor the situation for now and see if it worsens over time. However, if you start to experience other issues with the oven or if the flickering becomes more frequent or intense, it may be a good idea to have it checked by a professional technician.
In any case, it is generally recommended to have appliances that are over 10 years old regularly serviced and inspected to ensure they are functioning properly and to address any potential safety concerns.

Where is the fuse located in a Defy S 600 oven?
There is a thermal fuse on the left-hand side of the oven (once you have opened the back). In the middle is a little hole. This is a reset hole. Push a straightened paperclip into this hole to reset the fuse.

I have a De Dietrich oven (Doc 760 x1) and removed touch screen face plate with sensor buttons, cleaned and replaced, 'buttons' no longer work.
Based on the information provided, it is possible that the touch screen face plate with sensor buttons was not properly reconnected to the receptor behind it. It is also possible that the sensor buttons were damaged during the cleaning process.
To troubleshoot this issue, you can try disconnecting and reconnecting the touch screen face plate to ensure a secure connection. If this does not work, you may need to replace the sensor buttons or seek professional assistance.
It is important to note that attempting to repair or troubleshoot electrical appliances can be dangerous and should only be done by trained professionals.

How to reset Sauter oven SFE950XI
- First, disconnect the oven from the power supply by unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker that powers it.
- I believe to reset the Sauter oven SFE950XI after a power cut when you see 3 flashing LEDs (Auto grill light, cooking time light, + light) you will use the following steps below:
- Wait for at least 15 minutes to allow the oven to cool down, and to ensure that any electronic components have completely discharged.
- Reconnect the oven to the power supply and turn it on.
- Immediately press and hold the "-" (minus) button until you hear a beep.
- Release the "-" button and then quickly press the "+" (plus) button.
- Use the "-" button to select the hours, and then press the "+" button to confirm your selection.
- Use the "-" button to select the minutes, and then press the "+" button to confirm your selection.
- The display should now show "d:00" (with the "d" standing for duration), which means the oven has been successfully reset.
If this process does not work, it may be necessary to refer to the user manual or contact a professional technician for further assistance.
Let me know if it works for you thank you.

Parmco oven temperature knob stuck in how do I fix it please thx Tony
Hi Tony! If your Parmco oven temperature knob is stuck, you can try a few things to fix it. Here are some suggestions:
- Try applying some lubricant: You can try applying a small amount of WD-40 or silicone lubricant around the base of the knob. This might help loosen it up and make it easier to turn.
- Use pliers: If the knob is stuck, you can try using pliers to turn it. Wrap a cloth around the knob to protect it from scratches and then use the pliers to gently turn it. Be careful not to apply too much force or you might break the knob.
- Check for obstructions: Sometimes, the knob can get stuck because something is blocking it from turning. Check to see if anything inside the oven might be preventing the knob from turning.
- Call a professional: If none of the above solutions work, you might need to call a professional to come and take a look at your oven. They'll be able to diagnose the problem and fix it for you.
I hope these suggestions help you fix your Parmco oven temperature knob!

If your Belling oven is unable to unlock after a power cut and you've already tried holding in the cancel button, there are a few additional steps you can try to unlock it:
- Check the fuse or circuit breaker: Make sure that the fuse or circuit breaker that controls the oven's power supply has not tripped. If it has, reset it and try to unlock the oven again.

- Try resetting the oven: Unplug the oven or turn off the power at the circuit breaker for a few minutes, then turn it back on and try to unlock it.
- Check the manual: Consult the user manual of your oven, it may have specific instructions on how to unlock the oven after a power cut.
- Contact the manufacturer: If none of the above steps work, contact the manufacturer for assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or arrange for a service technician to repair the oven.
It's important to note that these steps may not work for all models, and it may be best to take it to a professional technician for further assistance.
