Good link in Publisher doesn't even show up as a link in the pdf

My educated guess is that the translation is lost between the "show text" and the actual "link text upon conversion to pdf. My suggestion would be to take your long url and create a smaller one using " http://www.snipurl.com " Try using the re-created actual URL (link) in your Publisher doc and then convert to pdf.

I've published my web pages but all of the links

Did you hyperlink them? where is this web page published? I would say that if the code was not uploaded correctly or if they were not hyper-linked properly that could be causing your problem.

How to download micfosoft publisher for free

Hello,

You can download 60 days trial addition of publisher from here

http://office.microsoft.com/publisher

after 60 days , you have to purchase it. In Fixya we are not providing any Link which claim entire free software (Like crack ) , Its better to use first trial addition and if you like it then purchase it on a nominal rate. Original software is better for your operating system because its regularly update by your Windows.

Photographs randomly disappear each time a document is used.

Before you open up Publisher and this document, open up task manager and note how much RAM is used as well as your paging file usage. After you open the document, take another look at your RAM and paging file usage again. If both have increased dramatically, you may want to use smaller images (via compression for JPEG files or lowering the resolution of the images first). Or you could invest in more RAM for the computer.

The letter "f" appears on my web page but not on my preview

Check that all your office patches are up to date. Clean out your cookies and temporary internet files and do a reboot. Get back if this doesn't fix the issue. Thanks!

How do i set up microsoft office

I think it's just trying to get you to set up your email account in Outlook. That's the only place I can think of that Office would be requesting information about imap..
Here's a link if you want to learn about it, but basically gmail is an imap email provider Hotmail isn't.
You should be able to ignore this request until you get office set up and go into Outlook later, if you choose to use it to retreive your email, and set up your email accounts then.
What other errors or queries are you unsure about?
You might find Microsoft's help and resources of use. If your question is about Publisher in particular, go here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/publisher/FX100649111033.aspx
From there you can access Help & How to, and also download free training courses that will get you off to a running start.
If it's office in general, go to that section of the same site and see the options available. MS wants you to learn how to use their products, and really has a lot to offer if you look online.
If there's something more I can do to help you get started, please let me know. I'd be happy to do so.

Microsoft publisher 2007

The only key you need to install Office 2007 and its various components is the product key. The referral key is not required to activate Office 2007.

I wont be able to download

hi,
first of all, MS Office 2007 is *NOT FREE*, the *free* version is available in Beta release (R2) and can be downloaded from : http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/beta/getthebeta.mspx

For rest, you need to provide me more details viz.
1. are you able to hit the website,
2. are you behind any firewall
3. are you downloading the files directly or using some downloader/P2P client
4. Bandwidth and connectivity of your ISP

Please dont mind but these chunk of information help us to spot the problem exactly where it exists.

Thanks and regards.

I'm using MS Publisher 2007 and pdf creation problem

  1. On the File menu, click Publish as PDF or XPS.
  2. In the File name list, type or select a name for the publication.
  3. In the Save as type list, click PDF.
  4. Next to Optimize for, click Change.
  5. In the Publish Options dialog box, click the optimization in the Specify how this publication will be printed or distributed list that matches the needs of the publication. For example, if the publication will be distributed online and print quality is less important than a small file size, click Minimum size. If the quality of the printing is more important than file size, click High quality printing.
  6. Click Advanced to display the entire dialog box, and select the settings that you need. (Find links to more information on these options in the See Also section.)
  7. Click OK.
  8. In the Save As dialog box, if you want to open the file immediately after saving it, select the Open file after publishing check box. This check box is available only if you have a PDF reader installed on your computer, and if the Commercial Press option is not selected in the Publish Options dialog box.
  9. Click Save.
