Recently my scope was tipped over by large gust of wind caused by a freakish dust devil. Now the scope has difficulty in finding direction. How do I fix this issue?

f your telescope has difficulty finding direction after being tipped over, it is possible that the internal components have become misaligned. This can cause problems with the telescope's ability to accurately track celestial objects. In order to fix this issue, you will need to realign the internal components of the telescope. The specific process for realigning the components of your telescope will depend on the make and model of your scope. Some telescopes have simple manual adjustments that can be made using screws or other mechanical components, while others may require more complex procedures to realign the components. If you are not familiar with the internal workings of your telescope and are unsure how to proceed, it may be best to seek the assistance of a professional or to contact the manufacturer for guidance. They will be able to provide you with the necessary instructions and any specialized tools that may be required to realign the components of your telescope.

The brush on my aquamate am-12 wont spin when I push the trigger on the hose. how can I fix this?

If the brush on your AquaMate AM-12 carpet cleaner is not spinning when you push the trigger on the hose, it could be due to a problem with the trigger, the hose, or the brush itself. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the trigger to make sure it is functioning properly. The trigger may be stuck or damaged, preventing it from activating the brush.
  2. Check the hose for any blockages or kinks. Remove any blockages or straighten out any kinks to restore suction.
  3. Check the brush for any visible damage or wear. If the brush is damaged or worn, it may need to be replaced.
  4. Check the connections between the hose, trigger, and brush to make sure they are secure and not loose.
  5. If the problem persists after trying these troubleshooting steps, you may need to take the carpet cleaner to a repair center for further diagnosis and repair.
I hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions.

My FoodSaver will not activate when I insert a bag. The accessory unit works fine.

It sounds like you are having some issues with your FoodSaver vacuum sealer. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Make sure that the FoodSaver is plugged in and turned on.
  2. Check the sealing strip on the vacuum sealer to make sure it is clean and free of debris. A dirty or damaged sealing strip can prevent the vacuum sealer from working properly.
  3. Check the vacuum bag to make sure it is properly positioned in the vacuum sealer. The bag should be inserted with the open end facing the sealing strip.
  4. Make sure that the bag is not too full. Overfilling the bag can prevent the vacuum sealer from working properly.
  5. If the problem persists, you may need to take the FoodSaver to a repair center for further diagnosis and repair.

We have F06 fault showing - door open but the brushes seem ok - they are 25 mm long still on and angle

The F06 error code on a washing machine indicates that the door is not closing properly. This can be caused by a number of things, including a faulty door latch, a misaligned door, or a problem with the door hinges. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Make sure that the door is fully closed and properly latched. Check the door latch and hinges for any visible damage or wear and replace if necessary.
  2. Check the door seal for any tears or damage. A damaged door seal can prevent the door from closing properly.
  3. Clean the door gasket and the area around the door to make sure there is no debris or residue preventing the door from closing properly.
  4. Check the washing machine's leveling. If the machine is not level, it can cause the door to not close properly.
If the problem persists after trying these troubleshooting steps, you may need to have a repair technician diagnose and repair the issue.

Water pump breakdown for bissel crosswave

The water pump in a Bissell CrossWave is a vital component that is responsible for pumping water from the tank and through the cleaning brushes. If the water pump is not functioning properly, it can cause the CrossWave to perform poorly or not work at all. Here is a breakdown of the parts that make up the water pump in a Bissell CrossWave:
  1. Motor: The motor is responsible for driving the pump and is typically a small, electric motor.
  2. Impeller: The impeller is a small, rotating blade that is attached to the motor shaft. It helps to move water through the pump by creating a suction effect.
  3. Housing: The housing is a container that encloses the motor and impeller. It is typically made of plastic and is sealed to prevent water from leaking out.
  4. Inlet and outlet ports: The inlet and outlet ports are openings in the housing through which water enters and exits the pump.
  5. Seals: Seals are used to prevent water from leaking out of the pump and are typically made of rubber or a similar material.
  6. Gasket: The gasket is a flat, circular piece of material that is used to seal the housing to the body of the CrossWave.
If any of these parts are damaged or not functioning properly, it can cause the water pump to break down and may require repair or replacement. I recommend contacting Bissell or a professional repair service for assistance if you are experiencing issues with the water pump on your CrossWave.

My Waterco T500 is leaking

It sounds like there may be a problem with your Waterco T500 pool pump. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to determine the cause of the leak:
  1. Check the pump seal: The pump seal is located between the motor and the pump housing and can sometimes wear out or become damaged, causing a leak. To check the pump seal, turn off the pump and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Remove the pump cover and inspect the seal for any visible damage or wear. If the seal is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
  2. Check the o-rings: O-rings are used to seal the connections between the pump and other components, such as the filter, heater, and pipes. If an o-ring is damaged or worn out, it can cause a leak. To check the o-rings, turn off the pump and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Locate the o-rings and inspect them for any visible damage or wear. If an o-ring is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
  3. Check the pipes and fittings: Loose or damaged pipes and fittings can also cause a leak. To check the pipes and fittings, turn off the pump and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Inspect the pipes and fittings for any visible damage or looseness. If a pipe or fitting is damaged or loose, it will need to be repaired or replaced.
If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a problem with the pump itself or another internal component. In this case, it may be necessary to have the pump repaired or serviced by a professional.

It sounds like there may be an issue with the shaker mechanism on your 5990 Red Devil shaker. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try: Check the shaker arm: Make sure that the shaker arm is not stuck or obstructed and is able to move freely. Check the shaker mechanism: Inspect the shaker mechanism for any visible damage or debris that may be causing it to stop functioning properly. Check the motor: Make sure that the motor is functioning properly and is not overheated. If the motor is not functioning properly, it could be causing the shaker mechanism to stop. Check the power supply: Make sure that the power supply to the shaker is functioning properly and that the unit is receiving an adequate power supply. If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a problem with the shaker mechanism itself or another internal component of the unit. In this case, it may be necessary to have the shaker repaired or serviced by a professional.

My V20 stick vacuums beater bar runs for a little while then quits, I've cleaned the bar by removing the bar to clean the dirt, strings and ect and also took the end of the bar off and cleaned it also

It's good that you have cleaned the beater bar and the end of it, as this is often the cause of the problem when the beater bar stops spinning. If cleaning the beater bar and end of it did not resolve the issue, there are a few other things you can try:
  1. Check the belt: The belt connects the motor to the beater bar and if it is damaged or stretched, it can cause the beater bar to stop spinning. To check the belt, turn the vacuum over and locate the belt. If it is damaged or stretched, you will need to replace it.
  2. Check for debris in the brush roll housing: Debris can sometimes get stuck in the brush roll housing and cause the beater bar to stop spinning. To check for debris, remove the brush roll and look for any foreign objects that may be stuck in there.
  3. Check for a clog in the hose or the suction path: A clog in the hose or suction path can also cause the beater bar to stop spinning. To check for a clog, remove the hose and use a flashlight to look for any blockages. If you find a clog, use a broom handle or similar object to carefully remove it.
If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a problem with the motor or another internal component of the vacuum. In this case, it may be necessary to have a professional repair it.

Free owners manual for Necchi

Find the Vintage Necchi page on Facebook. Lots of FREE NECCHI MANUALS there. I will have the 575FA manual posted there in less than a week. These other answers are posted by m0r0ns who are sending you to sites that CHARGE. I guess these stoopid jerks don't know what the words FREE MANUAL mean.If you go to the Necchi-USA website, they will refer you to a website that sells manuals because they don't want to be bothered by the old machines. Keep that in mind if you consider buying a manual from a company that washes their hands of their products when they decide they can't make enough money from selling parts and keeping free manuals for them.

My DC power head is not working, any suggestions

What is DC? Your vacuum cleaner's powerhead isn't working, but the motor is working and the brushes turn. What do you mean by no power? That the brushes stop turning on the carpet because of a lack of power (check for a stretched-out rubber powerhead belt). Or do you mean that there isnt any suction power and it doesnt pick up (check for clogging in the neck or body of the powerhead, tubing and hose)

Are vacuums supposed to blow out air through vent?

Every vacuum has an exhaust vent to release filtered air. If it didn't, and the motor was strong enough, pressure would build up inside until something let go, and we wouldn't want that to happen! In the old days, by the way, some vacuums had an attachment that let you use the exhaust vent as a blower to inflate toys etc.
