I have had 2 Shark Cordless Freestyle vacuums. The first one, when it was fully charged, the blue light would glow softly. The newest one has a flashing blue light that you can see from outer space. Light is supposed to keep flashing even when it is fully charged. Very annoyed that they changed this feature.
Hi, it's Allie from Crucial Vacuum!
Your Shark Navigator Freestyle Cordless unit has a flexible air hose located on the floor base of your unit, which allows the air flow and picked up dust to travel from the floor through to the canister.
Accumulated hair strands and debris may cause this hose to be clogged, the dustcup inlet to be blocked or the brushroll to not run properly. Start with turning off your vacuum. Press the release button on the back of your unit's main body and remove the motorized brush. To reach and clear the air hose, flip back the connector to straighten the air passage and remove all debris or blockage found.

AS far as I am aware and I have been in the trade for many years, there are limited spares for the Shark range and no schematics or diagrams due to their policy.
If it fails under warranty, they replace it, they don't attempt to repair them because it is not cost effective.
They are all called 'Navigator' :>D

When switch to carpet, the difference is that the brush roller turns. When it is on hard floors setting it doesn't. Remove the base plate, remove the brush and the belt. There is likely something wrapped around the drive spindle or clutch.
