When I push the start button, the light blinks but won't start. Looks like pause button may be stuck

If the start button blinks and the dryer does not start, it's possible that the pause button may be stuck. Here are some steps to try and resolve the issue:
  1. Unplug the dryer: Safety first! Unplug the dryer from the power source before doing any troubleshooting.
  2. Check the pause button: Make sure the pause button is not stuck or jammed in any way. Press and release the button several times to see if that helps.
  3. Check the door switch: If the pause button is not the issue, check the door switch. Open and close the door several times to ensure that the switch is functioning properly.
  4. Check the circuit breaker: Check your home's circuit breaker to ensure that the dryer is getting power. If the circuit breaker has tripped, reset it.
  5. Call for service: If you have tried all of these steps and the dryer still will not start, it may be time to call for service. A technician will be able to diagnose the issue and provide a solution.
Remember to always put your safety first and unplug the dryer from the power source before performing any troubleshooting.

My Kenmore electric dryer just stopped drying. .

If your Kenmore electric dryer has stopped drying, there could be several reasons why:
  1. Check the Power Supply: First, make sure the dryer is plugged in and that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. If you have an electric dryer, make sure the outlet is functioning properly.
  2. Check the Thermal Fuse: A blown thermal fuse can cause the dryer to stop heating. The thermal fuse is usually located on the blower housing or at the dryer's heat source. Use a multimeter to check for continuity. If there is no continuity, replace the thermal fuse.
  3. Check the Heating Element: A defective heating element can also cause the dryer to stop heating. The heating element is usually located behind the dryer drum. Use a multimeter to check for continuity. If there is no continuity, replace the heating element.
  4. Check the High-Limit Thermostat: A faulty high-limit thermostat can cause the dryer to stop heating. The high-limit thermostat is usually located on the heating element housing. Use a multimeter to check for continuity. If there is no continuity, replace the high-limit thermostat.
If the dryer will not turn off, the problem could be a faulty timer or a stuck relay. You may need to have a technician diagnose and repair the issue.

Leaving spots on clothing

Your dryer may use rollers, or wheels, to support the rear of the clothes drum. When these are worn out, they may cause the clothes drum to drop down slightly, which can pinch the clothes between the top of the clothes drum and the rear of the dryer interior. When the rollers wear out, you need to replace the whole set.Your dryer may have a felt-like seal at the rear of the drum. If this seal is worn, torn, or missing, clothes can get caught and torn in the space between the clothes drum and the rear of the dryer interior. When the rear seal wears out, you need to replace it. Your dryer probably uses nylon or plastic glides at the front of the clothes drum for support. When these are worn out, they may cause the clothes drum to drop down slightly, which can pinch the clothes between the top of the clothes drum and the front of the dryer interior. When the glides wear out, you need to replace them as a set. Many dryers have a felt-like seal at the front of the drum. If this seal is worn, torn, or missing, the clothes in the dryer may get caught and torn in the space between the clothes drum and the front of the dryer interior. When the seal wears out, you need to replace it.

Electric Kenmore Dryer series 80 burn out the High Temp Thermo switch?

It sounds like you have already done a lot of troubleshooting with your dryer, and that it is not working properly even after replacing the High Temp Thermo switch multiple times. The best thing you can do now is to consult a service manual for your specific model of Kenmore dryer. This will give you detailed information on the specifications for each of the components in the heating circuit, including the recommended resistance readings for the heating element. In general, a heating element should have continuity, meaning that there should be a low resistance path through the element that allows electricity to flow through it. The exact resistance reading will depend on the specifications for your particular model. If you don't have a service manual, you may be able to find one online or purchase one from a local appliance parts store. It's also possible that there may be a problem with the electrical circuit that powers the heating element. In this case, it may be helpful to have a professional diagnose and repair the issue.

Looking for a Kenmore Gas Dryer Manual on model #76512690-76512.

I apologize for the confusion, but I do not have access to specific Kenmore gas dryer manuals for model number 76512690-76512 as my knowledge cut-off date is 2021 and the information about the product is not available anymore. However, you can try to find the manual on the Kenmore website, or you can contact Kenmore directly to request a copy. In addition, you can also try searching for the manual on the Internet using the model number, and you may find a copy of the manual on a website that specializes in appliance manuals. Alternatively, the manual may be included with the dryer when it was originally purchased, check the box or any other packaging material that came with the dryer. If you are unable to find the manual, the dryer's operation should be similar to other gas dryers, with instructions on how to use the control panel, how to load the dryer, how to set the temperature, and how to clean the lint filter. Keep in mind that even if you are not able to find the manual, the dryer should have been installed by a professional and all the necessary information for its use should be provided by the installer.

Dryer has no heat on timed dry settings but does on Auto Dry settings

It sounds like you have done a good job of troubleshooting the issue with your Kenmore dryer. Your assumption that the heating elements, thermostats, and thermal fuses are not the source of the problem since the dryer produces heat on Auto dry settings is correct. Based on the information provided, it's likely that the issue lies with the timer or the wiring. The timer controls the different cycles of the dryer, including the timed dry settings. If the timer is malfunctioning, it may not be sending the proper signal to the heating elements to turn on. Similarly, if there is an issue with the wiring, it may be preventing power from reaching the heating elements during timed dry settings. It's also possible that the problem lies with the control board which controls the timer and the heating elements. It could be malfunctioning and needs to be replaced. It's best to check the wiring and the timer, if you're comfortable doing it, and make sure that everything is properly connected and functioning. If the issue persists, it's best to contact Kenmore customer service for further assistance. Request for a senior technician or supervisor to take a look at it and provide a resolution. Kenmore stackable washer dryer 417.12510. Still NO Heat

If your Kenmore stackable washer dryer model 417.12510 is not producing heat, there may be a problem with the heating element or with the control system of the dryer. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the dryer's manual for any specific troubleshooting steps or error codes that may be relevant to the issue you are experiencing.
  2. Make sure that the dryer's lint filter is clean and unobstructed. A clogged lint filter can cause problems with the heating element.
  3. Check the heating element for any visible signs of damage or wear. If the element is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
  4. If the heating element appears to be in good condition, there may be a problem with the control system of the dryer. In this case, it will likely be necessary to have a qualified technician inspect the machine to diagnose the problem and recommend the necessary repairs.
I hope this information is helpful. Let me know if you have any other questions or if there is anything else I can assist with.

Kenmore Dryer Model 110.86870100. Air Dry cycle heats up. It should only use cool air. Whats wrong?

If the Air Dry cycle on your appliance is heating up instead of using only cool air, there could be several possible causes. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the controls: Make sure the controls are set to the Air Dry cycle and that the temperature is set to cool. If the controls are not set correctly, it could cause the cycle to heat up.
  2. Check for a clogged air vent: If the air vent is clogged, it can cause the cycle to heat up. Check the air vent and clean it if it is clogged.
  3. Check for a malfunctioning thermostat: The thermostat may be malfunctioning, causing the cycle to heat up. Check the thermostat and replace it if it is not functioning properly.
  4. Check for other issues: There could be other issues with the appliance, such as a malfunctioning heating element or a problem with the wiring. In this case, it is best to seek the help of a qualified appliance repair technician who can diagnose and fix the problem.
I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, don't hesitate to ask.

Kenmore He5 electric dryer error code F01

The F-01 error code means that the thermistor has failed. The dryer 'thinks' that the thermistor is open when, in fact, the part has shorted out. The thermistor is designed to read and control the temperatures within the dryer. When this part is faulty, your Kenmore dryer will no longer work. You can locate this part near the bottom of the dryer, next to the exhaust.

My dyer Kenmore MODEL 110.87511702 is not heating.

There could be a number of reasons why your Kenmore dryer is not heating. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the thermostat. The thermostat controls the dryer's heat. If the thermostat is not functioning properly, the dryer may not heat. Check the thermostat and replace it if necessary.
  2. Check the heating element. The heating element is responsible for generating the heat in the dryer. If the heating element is not working, the dryer will not heat. Check the heating element and replace it if necessary.
  3. Check the dryer vent. If the dryer vent is clogged or blocked, it can cause the dryer to not heat properly. Check the dryer vent and make sure it is clear of any obstructions.
  4. Check the power supply. Make sure the dryer is receiving power. Check the outlet and circuit breaker to ensure that the dryer is getting electricity.
I hope these suggestions help! If you have checked all of these things and the dryer is still not heating, it is possible that there is another issue causing the problem. I recommend having a mechanic diagnose the problem in order to determine the cause and recommend the appropriate repair. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Kenmore DDOT-ELE-2406024-EL54 - How do you open it up to clean it out?

That is a strange model number for a Kenmore! Watch all of these videos and most of it will make sense. Normally you loosen the top console (don't remove) where the controls are and remove the top of the body. Then you undo the screws at the front bottom kick plate and carefully remove the front panel with the door attached. Be careful that you don't tear off the wires to the door switch. You now have access to the insides. You can now go as far or as little as you wish. There is a blower and the heater box, the motor and and an idler wheel with the drive belt. The parts to get rid of the squeak is the Idler pulley, the front drum slides or rollers and the bearing at the rear centre of the drum. Don't lubricate with WD40, use 3-in-One or similar machine oil. Finally, the 'external ventilation' is the rear hose, the pipe through the wall and the vent with flaps outside. The best type of hose is the shortest one, and aluminium or smooth metal. The plastic ones block with fluff. The videos are for 'replacing the belt' but that gets you to the place where you need to be. https://www.google.com/search?q=Kenmore+DDOT-ELE-2406024-EL54+replace+belt ..
