Tentioned my drive belt on my Sinotec top loaderT1311LS. Now it sounds like slipping ratchet on the drive. How do I set the ratchet on the drum?

If you have tensioned the drive belt on your Sinotec top loader T1311LS and now it sounds like there is a slipping ratchet on the drive, it is possible that the drum is not turning properly. Here are some steps you can take to set the ratchet on the drum:
  1. Unplug the washing machine and remove the back panel to access the drum and motor assembly.
  2. Locate the ratchet mechanism on the drum. It is usually located on the back of the drum and will have teeth that engage with the teeth on the motor shaft.
  3. Check the teeth on the ratchet mechanism for any signs of wear or damage. If the teeth are worn, the ratchet may need to be replaced.
  4. Make sure that the ratchet mechanism is properly engaged with the motor shaft. If the teeth are not aligned, the ratchet may slip and cause the drum to stop turning.
  5. Check the tension on the drive belt. If the belt is too tight, it may be causing the ratchet to slip. Loosen the tension on the belt slightly and see if this resolves the issue.
  6. If the ratchet is still slipping, it may be necessary to replace the drive belt or the motor itself. Contact a qualified technician for further assistance.
  7. Once you have resolved the issue, reassemble the back panel and plug the washing machine back in. Test the machine to ensure that the drum is turning properly and that there are no more slipping or ratcheting sounds.

F2E1 light is on but all buttons work

The F2E1 error code on a Whirlpool Cabrio dryer indicates a problem with the user interface control board. Even though the buttons on the keypad appear to work, there may be an issue with the board that is preventing the dryer from starting. One potential solution is to try resetting the dryer by unplugging it from the power source for at least one minute, then plugging it back in and attempting to start it again. If this does not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to replace the user interface control board. It is recommended to contact a qualified technician or the manufacturer for assistance with replacing the control board, as working with electrical components can be dangerous if not done properly.

My Amanda dryer model ned4655ew1 shuts down after about 20 minutes. After it cools off it restarts then the same thing happens.

If your Amana dryer shuts down after about 20 minutes and restarts after it cools down, there could be a problem with the thermal fuse, which is designed to prevent the dryer from overheating. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the thermal fuse: Use a multimeter to test the thermal fuse for continuity. If the thermal fuse is blown, replace it with a new one.
  2. Check the dryer vent: A clogged or restricted dryer vent can cause the dryer to overheat and shut down. Clean the dryer vent to remove any lint or debris.
  3. Check the cycling thermostat: The cycling thermostat controls the temperature inside the dryer. If it's not working properly, it could cause the dryer to overheat. Test the thermostat for continuity and replace it if necessary.
  4. Check the heating element: A broken or defective heating element can cause the dryer to overheat. Use a multimeter to test the heating element for continuity.
If none of these steps resolves the issue, it's best to contact a professional technician to diagnose and repair the problem.

I have a ergoline 300 had the intellitan timer, now installing Tmax timer. Are there any wiring schematics to show what color wires go where?

When replacing a timer on a tanning bed, it is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully and to make sure that the replacement timer is compatible with your specific model of tanning bed. It is also important to disconnect the power supply to the tanning bed before attempting any wiring or electrical work. As for bypassing the timer altogether, it is generally not recommended to do so. The timer is an important safety feature that helps to prevent overexposure to UV radiation, which can cause skin damage and increase the risk of skin cancer. If you are having issues with the timer or are unsure about how to properly wire it, it is best to contact a qualified technician or electrician for assistance.

The drive belt for the tumbler squeaks when the dryer in s operating.

A squeaking drive belt on a dryer is a common problem and can be resolved with some simple maintenance. Here are some steps to follow:
  1. Unplug the dryer from the power source.
  2. Locate the drive belt at the back of the dryer. It's a rubber belt that runs from the motor pulley to the drum.
  3. Check the belt for signs of wear or damage. If the belt looks worn or cracked, it may need to be replaced.
  4. If the belt is in good condition, try tightening it. Locate the tensioner pulley and use a wrench or pliers to tighten the bolt or nut that holds it in place.
  5. Lubricate the pulleys on the dryer with a small amount of oil or silicone spray. This will help reduce friction and eliminate the squeaking sound.
  6. Reconnect the power source and turn the dryer on to see if the squeaking has stopped.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, the problem may be with the motor or other internal parts of the dryer, and it may require professional repair.

Can I use super glue to reattach the Felt gasket on a lint screen?

It is not recommended to use super glue to reattach the felt gasket on a lint screen. The lint screen is typically located in your dryer and its purpose is to capture lint and debris that may be generated during a drying cycle. The felt gasket on the lint screen helps to prevent lint from escaping into the dryer and causing potential fire hazards. If the felt gasket has come loose or detached from the lint screen, it is recommended to replace the entire lint screen assembly rather than attempting to glue the felt back in place. The reason is that super glue may not adhere well to the felt material, and it may not be able to withstand the high temperatures and humidity inside the dryer. Also, the super glue may release harmful fumes during the drying cycle that could be hazardous to your health. Replacing the lint screen assembly is a straightforward process that typically involves removing the old screen and installing the new one. You can consult your dryer's user manual or contact the manufacturer for guidance on how to replace the lint screen.

DRyer is turning just not drying clothes

Hello there:
Investigate these five areas if your dryer is not heating up:

Proper Voltage

If your dryer won't heat up, it's possible that it is not being supplied with the proper voltage. Here are three ways to make sure power is getting to your dryer: First, make sure your dryer is plugged in. Next, check the circuit breaker panel to make sure all the circuit breakers are in the correct positions. Finally, check to make sure no fuses in your fuse panel are blown. Any of these could explain why power is not getting to your dryer.

dryer_heating-element.jpg Heating Element

It is possible that your dryer isn't heating because its heating element is defective. Heating elements are irrepairable. If yours has ceased to function properly, you will have to replace it. Open your dryer's cabinet and locate the heating element so that you can test it.
dryer_thermal-fuse.jpg Thermal Fuse

Another possible cause for a dryer not heating up could be attributed to a faulty thermal fuse. Once a dryer's thermal fuse has blown, it is no longer of any use. If your dryer's fuse is blown, you will have to replace it. Open up your dryer's cabinet and locate its thermal fuse so that you can test it.
dryer_thermostat.jpg Thermostat

If any of your dryer's thermostats have become defective, they could be the reason that your dryer is not heating. Open up your dryer's cabinet and test each of your dryer's thermostats. If any are faulty, replace them.
dryer_timer.jpg Timer motor

A defective timer motor could also cause your dryer to not heat up. Test your dryer's timer motor. If it is no longer functioning as it should, replace either the entire motor assembly, or just its motor.

Does the thermal overload protection cut power to the timer when tripped?

It depends on the specific device and its design. Some thermal overload protection systems are designed to cut power to the entire device, including the timer, when tripped. However, other systems may only cut power to certain components or circuits and leave the timer functioning. It is best to refer to the manufacturer's specifications or manual for the specific device to determine how its thermal overload protection functions.

Hi, i'm thinking about getting a

While there are several gas dryers that will work on LPG by changing the size of the orifice, I would not recommend the use of 20 lb bottle inside a house. LPG is heavier than air so it will accumulate in low areas, so presents a safety hazard.

In the state of Colorado, if I put an electric or natural gas dryer in a mobile home I don't need any special permits or preparation. BUT if I put a LPG dryer, heater, stove in a mobile home, I need special permits AND a trench to move the heavier than air gas from under the trailer and away from the structure. AND that is with the LPG tank being more than 50 foot from the structure, not in it like you are planning to do.

So the answer is yes, it can be done. But it SHOULD NOT be done!
