I would not recommend this as you use these on the pavement/walk way where people could easily be ran over and hurt.

hi William, there is a fuse located until the rear cover please check that's okay , if so then sadly the charger unit has failed, i can supply you with a normal charger lead that you fit to the batteries and will allow you to use a normal three pin charger, a lot cheaper than a replacement unit .. Most chargers are 3 pin. Plus and minus charging voltage to the batteries and a third pin monitors the actual battery voltage, so that the automatic charger can turn itself off once the batteries are fully charged. As Brad has mentioned, the connection from the charger has to be made for the charger to produce a voltage at those pins. The best way to see if it is charging is to remove the seat and measure across both batteries.. assuming it's a 24volt system like most. Charging voltage can be as high as 28volts across the positive of one 12volt battery (connected in series to the other 12v battery) and the negative of the other battery. You can monitor the charging voltage across the batteries with a digital volt meter.

Hi Chris,,,, Now lets get the silly question out of the way first, have you tried another charger ? IS it a built in charger ? Remember a bad charger == Bad batteries... the lead that goes from the chagrer socket to the batteries via the controller are most likely adding resistance that the charger does not like ... hi what is the Power Brick ? are there any wire connected to the keylock ? if not those wires could be the keylock wires so touching them may turn the scooter on , this is at your own risk !!.. Regards Rob

Best way is to locate the beeper. There should be two wires coming from it. You can clip the wire and insulate the cut end. Best to cut the red wire if one is there, as it will be the power lead. If you sell the unit later, you can restore the beeper.

Go to the Electric mobility website and down load a manual or go to your dealer who will obtain it for you.

I would contact your Rascal dealer for a replacement key switch. You could try spraying some switch cleaner in the key slot and work the key to see if it is just dirt but I would imagine it is worn out.

This could be the charger socket is worn and not making a good connection when charging or it could be the charger itself at fault. Now you have changed the batteries, I presume new and both the same type, you need to look at the charging side.

I would recommend the correct automatic charger as you don't want to damage your batteries or have a fire/explosion.

Hi, Unless you have access to a PG Drives fault/programmer unit, You will need to go to a Rascal dealer to sort this out for you.

Hi, To get to the head light bulb you need to take the tiller head apart by removing the screws that go up from the bottom. The top will lift off but be careful not to pull any wires off. This will give you access to the lamp at the front. Make sure you replace the bulb with the same type and voltage.

I would check the multi pin socket in the tiller is pushed in all the way. Check the underside of the scooter and track the cable to see if it is damaged anywhere. Where the cable comes up under the seat between batteries, check the plug on the end of the cable. Also on the seat lift. Check micro switches as I believe the scooter will not run with the seat in the raised position. so check down switch first.
