My stove 720ef neds new
Espares could get them because when I asked a little while ago they came up trumps. They are about 80 pounds and are ablong in shape, so don't be put off when you see the online picture.
The inner glass on the
Try espares. If it is not listed, there is a section where you can specify the part you want and they will come back to you with a price if it still available.
Clock constantly flashes `A` and
It looks like the clock has failed. Try leaving the power off for at least 10 mins, turn it back on at the main switch and then try it. If it still doesn't work Espares can get you a new one. Incidentally, if there is power to the oven, the grill will work even if the clock is not set.
The stove top works fine
Normally, there is a master switch on the wall near the oven. This is in turn is usually fed from its own fuse/breaker on the consumer unit. I suspect this has bblown.
I have just replaced the fan for this oven as it
Strange one this. According to the wiring and circuit diagrams, the yellow wire from the fan should go to contact 4 on the main oven switch. The oven element is connected to the thermostat, which in turn is connected to contact 3 on the oven switch. When the oven is on the handbook says that contacts 1,3 and 4 are made, contact 1 being the oven lights. So if the lights come on and the fan turns, the switch is more or less working. The only other thing that overrides the oven element is the thermal cutout. If you still have the problem, let me know what the thermostat neon is doing in all of this. It will be interesting to see what this is doing. Also, if you want the handbook which includes the diagrams, post your email address and I will send you a pdf copy.
No power to the double oven but the hob still
The double oven will only work if a time is set on the clock. Any time will do, you just have to set a time. The grill/top oven is independent of the clock. If the clock is faulty espare can sorce them for you.
How to fit oven door seal
The handbook tells you how to do it. If you want a copy, supply an email address and I will send you a pdf copy.
Will not stay on!!! the timer unit has the A
You need to check that when you turn the automatic off, there is no time remaining in the cook time. You need to ensure that this is set to zero when cancelling the auto function.
If this still doesn't worh then espares will be able to source a replacement clock for you.
Can I download a Manual
I have posted how to use the timer on the 720 on other solutions. Try that to see if it works.
Our top oven inner door
Try espares. If the part is not listed, there is a section where you can leave your requirements and they will get back to you.
The fan on my oven
It could be that the fan cover has become covered in grease etc on the inside of it which is restricting the fan. The fan cover is easily removed. There is a self tapping screw in each corner. Remove those and the cover should come off. The screw holes are offset, so you shouldn't be able to put the cover back upside down but be aware the cutout for the thermostat sender should be at the top.
It could also be the fan bearing seizing causing the fan to run slowly. Once the cover is removed you can check this but DO NOT run the fan for any length of time with the cover off as the heating element may overheat.
Stoves 720ef small 'A' appears
If the 'A' appears, it means that the automatic setting has been enabled. To stop this and return to manual setting, press the COOK TIME and READY TIME buttons simultaneously.
The COOK TIME button is the second from the left and the READY TIME is the third from the left.
If the 'A' keep s reappearing by itself, then it could mean that the timer is going faulty. ESPARES should be able to supply one.
