Most likely your Vivitar needs a new battery....if you've lost your a/c adapter-you can use a standard USB cable to charge your camera. Plug the smaller end into your Vivitar & the larger end into your turned on PC/laptop & it'll charge the battery.

I found a couple chargers for sale on Amazon by searching "Vivitar DVR-550". The cheapest was 8 pounds sterling, about $12, which was a travel charger capable of using mains outlets in many countries as well as a car cigarette lighter plug.
How do i unlock the
SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Hi, All you need is the right cable to video card on your computer. The computer will do the rest. (AVI,mpeg4 WMV, AV) These are some of the formats you can use.
