Delta Luv Delta - Baby Products 5-in-1 Crib Questions & Answers
Need hardware
Don't use the crib with out the exact hardware. Delta Children's Products is located in NYC. But - chech the date code on your crib. If it was made before June 2011 then it probably doesn't meet the latest safety standards. The crib is the only place a child should be left alone and so you want to be sure it is the safest peice of baby gear that you own.
Is the crib model 4464
You can find out about the recalls at
www.cpsc.gov. That model number appears to be on recall for a Delta Portable crib. They are sending out a repair kit for the recall. Please visit the above website for the recall information.

Is there a recall for
It looks like Bright Futures makes this crib and as of today is not recalled. However that could change.
If it is a dropside crib, a wave of recalls is expected making the dropside into a stationary side (No more moving up and down). You might check at the local stores that carry any Bright Futures products ( I am pretty sure Walmarts do in the form of Bouncy Seats) and get a contact info phone number off a box on the shelf. Call them and get the information you need.
Good luck.

It sounds like you have the mattress support rails in upside down. The rails (2) have 2 nubs on each end that attach them to the left and right side of the crib. They look like what you would see on an adults bed that run the length from the head to the footboard. If installed upside down they dont work. There should be 2 swivel tabs on each rail. These face up. The mattress support fits into the very top of the rails and the swivels turn to just sit over the top of the support board and keep it in place. You can go to Delta's site and check for the recall. It is a FREE easy fix. Just plug in your model number and sometimes date of manufacture. They will send you the kit and you are now safe and secure. Here is a link to Delta to check. And as far as worried, it is your child's safety, check it.
