Stoves 1000DF Richmond - LPG Conversion

the back decal will be the original manufacturer and the person doing the conversion would have fitted the LPG decal on the front as a warning to gas fitters carrying ot repairs The only difference is jet sizes and air shroud positions I would suggest that you have it inspected by a gas fitter to ensure that the flame is the correct color indicated by the correct jet and shroud position it should be a royal blue if a yellow it is wrong jets for the gas

I have a stoves farmstyle 1100 df cream range

Hi.To replace the timer control you need to remove the front fascia panel and the hotplate at top. Before starting disconnect power and move the range forward. To remove front panel you need to undo the 4 screws at the sides and to remove the knobs, then remove front panel. To remove the hot plate you need to remove 4 screws at the back. There are also 4 screws at each side of the hot plate. You may need to remove the side panels to reach those screws. There is also an additional screw located behind the control. Here a service manual for the range Farmstyle 1100E, which is similar to 1100DF. The disassembling instructions for top and front are at pages 62 to 64 of PDF (sections 4 to 6). Control board and touch pad are at page 67-68 (sections C and D of disassembling).Service manual: Stoves Farmstyle 1100 1st.pubRegards.Ginko

Got a 3 prong stove but new pigtail has 4 is the

The following link explains how to convert from a 3-prong appliance cord to a 4-prong:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r793520-3_prong_4_prong_power_cord_conversion

The main difference is how the ground and neutral are terminated. In a 3-wire configuration, ground and neutral are connected together at the terminal block. In a 4-wire configuration these two wires are independent of each and are NOT to be connected together. The neutral wire will be terminated at the terminal block, while ground is connected to the ground lug on the appliance cabinet.

NOTE: New contruction homes after the year 2000 all have 4-wire configurations and you are required to have a 4-prong cord. However, if the home is older and still has a 3-prong oullet you can continue to use a 3-prong cord. You can still purchase them at any hardware store.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Oven cooling fan keeps on spinning

Sounds like you have a oven probe or (if equipped) computer issue. From the looks of it, you dont have a computer on this model, so you probably have a thermostat stuck somewhere in there. The thermostat closes at the set temp, then opens when the unit cools. Sounds like this one is stuck in the closed position, allowing the fan to run all the time. You will have to look and see if you have a wiring diagram on the back of the unit, then find the fan wires and see which thermostat controls it. If no diagram, follow the wires out of the fan and see if on runs to a thermostat. Good luck and let me know if you need further info.

Grill

The ignition light is a spark jumping, I assume, If so, try lighting with a match or something (be careful of the sparker) if it lights you may need to adjust the angle of the module so it catches the gas better.

Where is the fuse located on a Defy DGS 158, 4 gas 2 electric stove.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Laundry Dryers. The AI Chat GPT4 answer by 'Shwet' has been deleted. Rangers don't normally have fuses. {Protection is provided by the house breaker box. The problem is likely a failed element and you can check that with a multimeter set to ohms. Here is the manual, no fuse mentioned https://manuall.co.uk/defy-dgs158-range/ ..
