It all depends. When you want to connect a blue tooth to a phone, You will need to switch on the blue tooth device and the phones blue tooth you are pairing with.

When pairing both device, you will ask for pairing code, You four digit numbers(default code(0000). and pair.

After pairing both device, you detected paired, you can now use the blue tooth device with your phone.

there are no special code for pairing Blue tooth device.
Normal codes used are any four digit, four numbers you want to use.(0000, 1234).

no signal means the software inside the parrot has crashed, you will need to remove the main control box and update the software but you will need an update cable, this can not be done via bluetooth. try parrot.com and look for yor nearest engineer or dealer

You will need to update the software in this parrot, you can do this by downloading the parrot update manager from parrot web site, you will need a Laptop with Bluetooth to send the file to the parrot. If you cant do it the have a look at parrot.com and look for your nearest parrot engineer.

Hi, i copied this from parrots web site, you need to send all the contacts together to the parrot.
* From the phone go to:
* Press the MENU button then select PEOPLE
* Select a contact and press MENU button then tap SEND CONTACT
* Choose option "SEND CONTACT-BLUETOOTH" then tap SEND
* Select SCAN FOR DEVICES
* The phone will search for the available devices
* From the list select the Parrot Product
* Contact will be sent OK

hi click on menu go to settings go to language click on the desired language

You will to ensure that the contacts has been synchronizing or sending via "object push" either the full directory or one by one.

If you do not send the contacts or this one are not on the kit, you can select and make the voice recognition activate.

You will first activate the voice dialling (key words, telefon ect, record you voice once and a second time to valid.

This is exactly the same with the directory , you select the contact or the directory to voice dialling and repeat a second time.

Then you can make the test, with the word "telephone" then beep and you say the name after the beep (you can key words to build sometimes when you have several keywords (home etc..).

You will have to go into the kit, settings -> paired device and then select on of the phone already paired and delete.

To ensure of the diagnose, when the kit is not working, you can't find the kit via the research of the bluetooth peripheral of the phone.
If yes, unfortunately to screen and then the kit has to be repaired.

Maybe cause the upgrade was fail and then you will have to make it replaced or checked. (this is the screen which is the brain and not the box).

The trouble may be due to the specific software and mobile you have.

It is difficult to give you an answer without knowing the mobile.
But some of them if i remember had the trouble especially pda's.

It could be also in relation with the number of contacts you have to the PDA. A thousand contacts are normaly available, and maybe more with the evolution of the product.

Precise the software of the kit and the model of the phone to clear the situation.

delete any existing paired devices from the settings menu, it may be full (5 max)

Try to make the pairing via the menu of the kit settings -> pair with phone and use one of the sony menu you have.

Cause that could be different reasons to get this impossibility.

Check the profile of the phone to see if you have the handsfree profile, because in some mobiles, the profil headset is set up and then doesn't allow to use the buttons of the kit.

If the push to talk is to build the voice contact before using the push to talk which is not specifically correlate with the one from the phone.

Did you use into the kit (settings -> pair with phone a specific menu in the kit?

Unfortunately i do not have the info from the phone, but still the most common troubles are oftest due to the interaction of voice control and contacts from the phone to the kit.

No one idea of the phone you have and the software version of the kit.

But i will advising you to use the specific menu (settings -> advanced settings -> pair with phone and select one of the menu and pair your phone).

The car kit doesn't recognize the * button when you dial from the kit.
Just use or inscribe 00 instead of *.
