Denon DN-V310 DVD Player - Page 7 Questions & Answers
Ihave a Denon AVR-2808C1 Home
From my experience, most of the Denon remotes are universal and do work with each other. If anything, make sure it has a 30 day warranty so you can always exchange it or get a refund.
No picture when hooking component through
with Denon you have to go into the menu and "assign" the inputs.
You have to select if you are using HDMI, s-video composite etc.
If your unit has upconverting remember that it will upconvert a s-video signal to HDMI but not the other way around.
HDMI is a digital signal composite, s-video etc are analog therefore you could not use the HDMI output from your PS3 but then use the red, blue green composite outputs from your receiver to run to your tv.
We have a Denon DVD
Is this a new hook-up? Or have you recently lost sound?
Check your DVD player menus and check to see if it's set for audio over HDMI and not the S/PDIF port.
Some players have an automatic detection for this. It can change just by the order in which you turn the devices off.
Another issue is found in the cables themselves. Although HDMI hardware seems pretty bullet proof There is always a possibility of crappy cables. Try wiggling them to see if has any effect on the sound.
If these fail please respond back with your Denon model # and TV make and model.
Hope it helps.
I have a denon receiver with mt sat boc and tv
HDMI won’t pass any signal when the receiver is off. I don’t think you use the same connections before sending receiver for repair. You can connect HDMI directly to TV, and use optical input to receiver for audio only.
Loses power when the DVD door closes...strange
If you're able to turn the player back on and watch a movie be very happy. Otherwise, if the only way to power the unit back on is to open the tray, this is a repair issue. If you bought the unit recently, it should be under warranty--as long as you kept the receipt. However, if the unit isn't in warranty, unless you paid a lot of money for it ($125+) I would suggest replacing the player.
I took the liberty of looking up Denon's warranty. Basically, you have a one year warranty from the date of purchase. If the player has to be shipped, you pay the shipping to the service center and they pay the shipping back to you. You have to have the receipt in order to take advantage of the warranty (you're required to send a copy of the receipt with the player.)
Denon DVD player - model
You have to go into your 'HDMI' audio settings tab, and select "2 Channel".
Once you have selected "2 Channel", then when you go into the 'Audio Setup' tab (different tab then the HDMI audio tab), then they will no longer be greyed out. You can then change it to Multi Channel and they will now all work. I had this problem too, when I first got my 2910. If you are using HDMI for watching Movies etc, then you will need to put the HDMI audio setting back to Multi ...when you are done using your Multi Channel analog outputs

Denon s301 wont play new
Simple thought... are you trying to play a Blu-Ray Movie disk on a Denon that not Blu-Ray Compatable? That would do it.
Where is the Google on the Matertech?
It appears that there could be miscommunication. As of my previous update in January 2022, Matertech doesn't seem to be a commonly known term or corporation. On the other hand, if you're talking about "Google," it's a well-known worldwide technological corporation that specializes in internet-related services and goods, such as search engines, cloud computing, online advertising technologies, software, and hardware.
Google's official website or an internet search utilizing one of the search engines like Google itself are usually the easiest ways to get information about Google. If "Matertech" relates to a particular thing or idea, further information could be helpful in order to provide a more precise answer.
