How to link my blue tooth

Pairing the Plantronics Explorer 220:

For most phones, select Settings/Tools, Connections, Bluetooth, On. See your phone's user guide for more information.

With the 220 headset powered off, turn on the headset by pressing and holding the call control button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED flashes red & blue. The Explorer 220 headset is now in pairing mode. If you don't see the red/blue flash, press and hold the power button to turn your headset off, and then press and hold the power button again and hold for 5-6 seconds until you see the red & blue flash.

From your phone, go to the Bluetooth menu and select "Search" or "Add Device". Your phone should find the headset which will appear as "2xxPlantronics" in your list of devices.

If prompted for the Passkey (PIN code), enter 0000. If your phone asks for a PIN/passkey, enter 0000 (4 zeros). Pairing is successful when the LED on your headset flashes blue. Your headset is now connected and ready to use.

Can't get the battery place to open

The battery on the Explorer 220 is not replaceable. When the battery dies and will no longer hold a charge, you will need to purchase a new Bluetooth headset.

Lost manual . How do I get it to ask me who I want

Voice dialing with the Explorer 220:

With the headset on, press the call control (answer) button for around 2 seconds to activate the voice dialing. This should prompt your phone and you should typically hear "say a command", then you can say, for instance, "call home". It will then confirm the command by saying "did you say call home?" And when you answer "yes", it should start dialing.

However, just remember that to use voice-activated dialing, your phone and cellular service must be capable of voice-dialing and this feature must be enabled on your phone. See your Bluetooth phone manual for instructions. Also, here is a link below for the Explorer 200 series user guide.

It sounds like the headset is already connected to a device. Try holding down the center control button to put it back into discovery mode and then use your phone or device to locate the headset. Pairing phone to headset

In order to put your car kit in pairing mode, starting with it turned off, press and hold the MFB for some 6 seconds, until its indicator light is flashing alternately in red and blue. You'll be prompted to choose a language, and, then, to pair it with your phone. Then, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a little while, your car kit should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey, or passcode) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros).

By the way, detailed instructions on how to pair it with your phone (illustrated with pictures) can be found on its user guide; In case yours happens to be missing, you'll still be able to find it here.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.

Anyway, please, let me know if I can help you any further.
Regards, Carlos
