Amp would not turn on
Switch off the amplifier for some time and allow it to reset. disconnect the speakers and reduce the volume level before you put it on. If the power does not come on you will need to probe inside. Get help if you are not familiar but check on the power lines coming in for failure of fuse, the secondary power supply section transformer or the smps power. Hope it would not go further to this but check this out.Check for shorting inthe outputs, if so disconnect and test. Good day

Crown XTi 4000 brand new digital amp how can i
Hiya, to unlock press PREV and NEXT until it says unlocked.
The short 1 sounds a little serious though. Have you tried taking off the speakers?? If still there then suggest contacting crown. They have a pretty good no nonsense 3 year warranty
Best of luck
Amp lights up but when it goes to actually kick on it shuts off
The only component I can think of that fits your description is a bypass capacitor for filtering high frequency interference. That should NEVER get hot. This amp is going into protective shutdown. This unit should be brought in for service. Continued attempts to run this will end up causing additional damage. Where are you located?

Power Crown XTi 6000 activates protection and does not generate PWM what could it be?
The Power Crown XTi 6000 is a power amplifier, and it sounds like it is activating its protection circuit and not generating a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal. There could be a few different reasons for this behavior. Some possible causes include:
- Overheating: The amplifier could be overheating, causing the protection circuit to activate in order to prevent damage.
- Short circuit: There could be a short circuit in the amplifier, causing the protection circuit to activate.
- Input signal issue: The input signal to the amplifier could be causing the protection circuit to activate. This could be due to a problem with the source, such as a malfunctioning mixer or a disconnected cable.
- Output impedance or load mismatch: The amplifier may have a mismatch in output impedance or the load impedance which can cause the protection circuit to activate.
- Firmware or software issue : There could be a problem with the firmware or software that controls the amplifier, causing the protection circuit to activate.
Without more information, it's difficult to say for certain what the problem is. It's recommended to check the manual for troubleshooting steps and also check for any possible firmware updates. If problem persist it's recommended to take professional help.

Did you receive my DVD of THe Crown Series one?
Hello, Sylvia -
I have no idea what entity you meant to receive your question.
You posted in the Fixya.com website, which is intended for asking and answering questions on how to go about REPAIRING THINGS. Plus, your question landed in the Fixya category for Crown (brand) Audio Players & Recorders.
Perhaps you meant to message Netflix, or your local public library, or a person from whom you borrowed the DVD, or someone to whom you sold the DVD, or . . .
Best wishes.
