Sadly, your problem indicates a circuit problem inside the amp. Either the protection circuit or the output stage is messed up. If you don't know how to get inside, best to get some professional help. Sorry there isn't better news on this one.

I have a Yamaha natural sound stereo amplifier

Try these for starters!
Is the power switch broke? Check the power cord! Are any internal fuses blown. Look inside for damage/burnt parts. Are the printed boards broken? after say being dropped? Is the transformer working? Check around the power supply area for faults.
Note - be careful your dealing with mains electric!

I think Radio Shack has a kit for this problem. Not sure about the cost, it's been awhile since I dealt with this problem. Good Luck.

Crown IT 4000 from ROMANIA

make cleaning to your filter by air blower------- keep good ventilation around in the pass of air(in-out)----after you finish try to test your amp by connecting one speaker only at a time until you find the bad one--------------if all above did not pass you will have internal problem of hardware and needs service center.

take off all your speakers cables from amp and test if it is fixed you will have a problem in your cables or speakers itself-if not you have a problem in amp itself and needs to repair in service center.

Crown XS900 flashing Fault, Temp1, Temp2 5x when power is applied to IEC input. Nothing in owners or service manuals or from call to tech support.

I would study the service manual and service notes to find out why the temperature sensors do not work. Probably a supply rail down I would think to affect both of them.

Power Crown XTi 6000 activates protection and does not generate PWM what could it be?

The Power Crown XTi 6000 is a power amplifier, and it sounds like it is activating its protection circuit and not generating a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal. There could be a few different reasons for this behavior. Some possible causes include:
  • Overheating: The amplifier could be overheating, causing the protection circuit to activate in order to prevent damage.
  • Short circuit: There could be a short circuit in the amplifier, causing the protection circuit to activate.
  • Input signal issue: The input signal to the amplifier could be causing the protection circuit to activate. This could be due to a problem with the source, such as a malfunctioning mixer or a disconnected cable.
  • Output impedance or load mismatch: The amplifier may have a mismatch in output impedance or the load impedance which can cause the protection circuit to activate.
  • Firmware or software issue : There could be a problem with the firmware or software that controls the amplifier, causing the protection circuit to activate.
Without more information, it's difficult to say for certain what the problem is. It's recommended to check the manual for troubleshooting steps and also check for any possible firmware updates. If problem persist it's recommended to take professional help.

Crown amplifier xls402 fault indicator remain on and protection relay is not switching

If you have eliminated any shorted speakers, cables etc, then the only other cause is a shorted device on the power output board. Probably a device on the heatsink.

Did you receive my DVD of THe Crown Series one?

Hello, Sylvia - I have no idea what entity you meant to receive your question. You posted in the Fixya.com website, which is intended for asking and answering questions on how to go about REPAIRING THINGS. Plus, your question landed in the Fixya category for Crown (brand) Audio Players & Recorders. Perhaps you meant to message Netflix, or your local public library, or a person from whom you borrowed the DVD, or someone to whom you sold the DVD, or . . . Best wishes.

When I turn on my crown xti2002 amp it won't stay on it powers off

It's best to assume there is a short circuit in the power amp board. The unit is going in to protect mode to stop it blowing fuses etc. Could be caused by bad speaker wiring or connections by the way.
