Behringer B1520 Pro Eurolive 15" 2-Way Speaker Pair Main / Stereo Speaker Questions & Answers
For Behringer B300 where is the ic 7815 and 7915
Test the regulator chips FIRST before ANY replacement. These chips are very reliable and the problem is LIKELY elsewhere.
The 7815 and 7915 ar 15 volt three terminal regulators in TO220 style packages. Three leads. The 7815 is plus 15 and the 7915 is minus 15.
CAREFUL as the input and ground pins are in different order between the two.
FIND the specs and picture with Googling the numbers.
These chips will be soldered in AND MAY be screwed or clamped to a heatsink OR just standing up from the board.
Why will my speaker stop playing and go into protection is there a reset bottom
The "Built-in overload-protection circuitry" is just doing its job...protecting the speaker from damage. Lets look at your system 1st. Is your power amp or powered mixer underpowered which requires you to turn the volume controls up past 1:00? Big systems play loud at moderate setting where-as small systems must be max'd out to reach those same levels. Pol-mount your speakers for better coverage as your ears are not attached to your shoes.
Behringer eurolive b1520 pro speakers duller than the other
Hi,
Best and safest is to have a good electronicus check it out.
i've worked on these kind off things, and i assure you not everything can be simply solved without experience, especially when talking about a decent type like Behringer ;)...
Hope this is helpful, and greetings,
Olivier.
I bought a Behringer Eurolive B1220 Pro speaker
Bad news...you've blown the tweeters. Overdriving the mixer/amp creates distortion on the amplifier which heats up the speaker voice coils and eventually causes damage. Because of their small diameter voice coil windings the tweeters fail first (opens up like a fuse element does) followed by the woofer making a scraping sound (deformed voice coil) or not working as well. Warranty service because you blew out the tweeters? Don't get your hopes up.
1. PLEASE use enough power for the venue that you have. A high powered system will run all night at 10:00 (physical volume knob setting) than an underpowered system set for 2:00.
2. Get speakers off the ground and closer to your audience's ears. Audio from speakers on the floor must battle surfaces that actually absorb some of the sound....carpet, drapes, etc. And besides, legs can't hear that well.
Behringer B1800 subwoofer quits few times and then
Check the internal wiring. There may be a loose connnection and this is VERY hazardous to you amp !!!
These may also have a self reseting fuse and that MAY be damaged.
You should discover the problem when you open up the unit.
I have a xenyx 2442fx
You would need a 2 or 3 way crossover, depending on whether or not you biamp your tops. Simply go out of your main outs on the mixer into the input of the crossover. Go from the low output of your crossover to your low power amp input (subs), and the high output of the crossover to the high power amp input (tops). Then go from your outputs of your amps into the speakers themselves.
Please help! Behringer KX1200 master volume stops past 4 and no lines work just fx return
Also how do I reconnect the fan?
It sounds like you may have a broken potentiometer (aka volume knob) for the master volume control. If that is the case, you would need to replace it with a new one (or take it to an electronics technician to diagnose and repair).
Regarding the fan disconnection, this likely isn't causing your issue but you would still want to reconnect it as it keeps your amplifier cool while in use. Reconnecting is fairly straightforward - all fans have 2 or 3 wires that connect to corresponding terminals on the amp. Just make sure you don't mix up which wire is positive and negative, and make sure they are connected firmly and securely.
Behringer EP1500 amp does not produce full loudnes
Hi,
Please test the loudness of your device with a third-party decibel meter. This will give you a clear measure of whether the loudness of your device is changing with increase in volume. It could be that your surroundings are absorbing the increased sound.
Thank you.
