Ac adaptor
I actually was able to go to leadsinger's website: karaokesolution.com they had a replacement adapter for sale it was $9.95 plus a few bucks shipping which I thought was a GREAT DEAL! ***BUT****when it arrived, it was white, and DID NOT WORK WITH MY LS-3700. I eventually bought another system on ebay both LS-3700 mics worked with the black originally included adapter, and neither worked with the white one I purchased. The black one is an 8V and the white one a 9V so I think that is the problem. They both had the same polarity and mA limits. I tried a universal adapter but it had 7.5V or 10V to choose between and neither setting worked....I found an 8.5V adapter at a thrift store and gave it a try (((if you do this you MUST MAKE SURE THE POLARITY IS CORRECT OR YOU WILL FRY YOUR DEVICE AS SOON AS IT IS PLUGGED IN--it will smell like burning wires*)))The Polarity is looks like this: [-] C-- [+] {a negative symbol circled a half circle around a dot opening faces the positive symbol circled and there is a line from the half circle to the positive symbol} Picture a dot in the middle of the C.MAIN SOLLUTIONS:1. GO ON EBAY FIND SEARCH "LEADSINGER MIC" and hope for a cheap replacement OR2. Find an AC adapter that is 8V-8.5V that fits and has a POSITIVE POLARITY -- Circle open to the positive symbol with a line to it.
Doesn't turn on any more
Please replace the battery with new one. The check wires and on/off switch for malfunction. If every these things are OK, you've problem with mic ( part at tip) and need replacement.
Wont turn on
Is the Mike an electret? Does it need a battery to work. If so try changing it or making sure it's inserted correctly. Does the on off switch feel sloppy and loose? If so it could need looking at. Also the wire for mics tends to take a beating. Check the connections on the plug end and make sure it's all connected OK. Don't forget a fracture can take place halfway along the cable in which case you'll need a multimeter. It will tell you if it's fractured but not exactly where the fracture is. If the mike gets it's voltage from the mixer or amplifier have you switched the phantom power on? If there's a plug and socket on the end of the mic also check that for fractures and again use the multimeter to measure continuity from one end to the other. Usually the braid is OK but check all wires anyway.
LS 3700 Leadsinger Microphone
We had the same problem just this weekend. However, we investigated it ourselves and discovered that you can take the microphone apart by unscrewing the two small screws inside the mic, under the music chips. Once the screws are out pry the two halves apart very carefully. Once we were inside, we discovered that the soundcard was loose and all we had to do is plug the sound card back in. Close 'er up and start up the show. Good Luck!
No power
did you make sure all the song cartridges are installed in the right direction?
If they are not, then no power.
Power lost on Main Microphone.
sound like you've been f#$^%d I suggest you boycott the company if enough people do it they will
be forced to bankrupt
then the government can bail them out and own the company this would give them the power to do things
like fire the c.e.o.... still doesn't help your situation
but it's fun to watch on tv
Leadsinger microphone..... no sound on tv ..microphone seems dead
Did you go to Leadsinger.com and follow their instructions on doing a Hard Reset?
It might help. I had the same problem but with a scrambled picture and no sound. The reset restored the picture but not the sound. Thats when Leadsinger returned it for a reconditioned one that worked worse than the first one. Now I get no response from them.
My video isn't working right
I just fixed my problem and the mike is working great! Try holding the number 9 then press and release the power button. I found this on the Leadsinger FAQ section and it worked. I'm pretty happy, as I really enjoy the chips I have for the mic!
