in there you just give the dyanamic ip address automatically then you get it but you want to give it the go for the router mode in that you get it i just send a link you just download that think user giude then go througt it step by step ok

Yes unplug power from both devices then connect the yellow ethernet port on the Zyxel modem to the input on the router, there should be 5 ports on the back 4 together and 1 separated slightly from the other 4, plug into the separated port.The 4 ports toegther are the output of the switch and go to your hardwired computers if any.Plug in your modem to power, when it has synced back up then plug in power to the router.Now all you have to do is hard wire 1 computer to the router while doing the router setup and follow the instructions with the router.

If you are using IE browser then click on compatibility view.

More than likely it cannot locate the DNS for your IP services. What I do when this happens is completely shut down everything computer modems router etc. The restart the whole ball of electronics. Then I reset the routers if this does not work then I open IE8 and do a diagnostic usually IE8 will find the issue and either explain it or fix it. That is what I do. The easiest way to be able to access the router settings in this case, will be to provide a direct connection between your PC and the Zyxel router (using a network cable) and then type in that address.
If the address still doesn't work, double check the router's IP address by opening the Command Prompt (it's under Programs -> Accessories) and typing in "ipconfig", then hitting Enter. The IP-address you're looking for is listed under "default gateway".
(Also, make sure your computer isn't using a fixed IP, set it up so it's dynamically assigned an address by the Zyxel router.)

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. . Then click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code password note down it or enter new password then save setting s and restart router. then you can connect wireless with new password. error 815 is a dial up error. open control panel, then internet options and click connections at the top. remove every connection in this list. Your pc is trying to use a dial up modem and not a router.

See the attached manual and look up page 42 where is shows how to reset your router to the default settings. The default ip is 192.168.1.1.

Generally a ADLS or Dsl unless its SDSL that has the same up and down speeds. So unless its a SDSL it won't be much of a webserver as most dsl connections have very limited upload - the pages and files may load slowly.

If you do a start -> run -> type cmd, press ok -> type ipconfig
what do you see as your ip and default gateway on the server machine are they to the direction of 192.168.xxx.xxx ?

If they are, then you are most likely behind a NAT and the port 80 is most likely blocked by a firewall on the router.

You would have to connect to the dsl modem, most likely thats http://InsertTheIPaddressOfDefaultGatewayHere

For example http://192.168.1.1 might be it. the ipconfig will tell you what the default gateway ip is.

you will be asked to login, unless someone changed the settings you should be able to login with admin admin or admin 1234 or similiar default codes.

Then try turning off the firewall or look for port forwarding, make sure port 80 is forwarded for the server machine or look for DMZ feature.
