try to check the system requirements for the corel draw to your cpu, probably it wont fit the required system, also consider to off the firewall just to make sure that it wont block the program. Hope it helps thanks.

Download and install revo uninstaller pro .... http://c464521.r21.cf0.rackcdn.com/RevoUninProSetup.exe and launch it ...uninstall Coredraw x3 ...and reinstall it.

Welcome to Fixya. If the system is or the program is not responding would it be possible for you to open Task Manager and check the CPU Usage of you computer before and after you open CorelDraw. And if possible turn off the other progams that is running on the computer that your not using. If the system is using 100% then most likely it would freeze and the program might not respond and the operating system aswell.

To open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete or Ctrl + Shift + Esc on your Keyboard.


How to Disable Unwanted Running Programs

Go to Start then Run type MSCONFIG



Click on Startup and disable the programs that you are not using.



And also download and install the file that corel sent you. If you have questions just let me know.

1. Go to Tools >> Color Management
2. Click the Moniter icon to open the "Advanced Display Settings" dialog box
3. Check the "Show CMYK in percentages" option

Step 1 Launch CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4. If you don't own the software, download and install a free 30-day trial from Corel.

Step 2 Go to "File" "Open" and open the X4 file you want to convert into a backward-compatible X3 file.

Step 3 Go to "File" "Save As" and choose "CorelDRAW X3-compatible" from the "Save as Type" drop-down menu. Click "Save."

Check for any printer has been configured on the system, if not install/configure the same will solve your problem.
