I'm going to assume you are using a wireless router, and are trying to figure out how to change what channel you connect to it on.

All you need to do is change the channel on your wireless router, and the adapter will automatically connect on that channel.

Check to make sure that you don't have any cordless phones in the area or ductwork directly below your computer between the adapter and the router.

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. . Then click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code password note down it or enter new password then save setting s and restart router. then you can connect wireless with new password. Go to www.linksys.com they got every driver for their products. Make sure you get the driver for the operating system your using.

There aren't any, some users are saying that a driver from Ralink is working though. Hopefully it works for you, here's a link to their site.

Well the problem then is not from ur adapter its from ur router ...
Just increase the channel width and the channel on ur router ...
if it still doesnt work uninstall te adapter and install its once again ...

Does it happen on all wireless computers? Try playing around with the channel on the router. Make sure that you're not near by a cordless phone or microwave that will interupt the signal. Play around also with the antenna on the router.

just asked the similar question as mine searches for automatic preferred network it says it is out of range while again I have 98 per cent on wireless it refuses which has the right code and detail we set up. First of all, I am shocked that Walmart didn't handle that for you. They are usually really good about that.

Second, I ran into the problem of not having my disc on hand so after some searching I found this page and it worked fine.
