95 Nissan Maxima didn't have an inline fuel filter. I added fuel system cleaner to almost empty tank and after driving some it now cranks but won't start

Hello ,, If i were to guess , I would say you cleaned everything up and put all the gunk directly into the injectors . I would try blowing air in the fuel line , but , go a close as you can get to the engine , disconnect the fuel line so that the gunk goes back to the tank and not the engine . then take (with the line still off ) a can of brake clean with the small tube on it and squirt to towards the injectors (the other end of the fuel line that goes towards the engine ) to try to get some of the gunk to come out of the system . Now with the fuel filter still on the car and the end of the fuel line from the tank turn the key on and let the fuel run into a bucket or bottle till you see clean fuel coming out . Then reconnect the fuel line to the engine ,, fill the rest or the tank with new gas and try starting it . You may have to try cranking it a few times till the gunk is out but it just might work . If it dosent you might have to clean up the injectors or replace them . Make sure you can hear the fuel pump working because it might have wrecked that too . Hope that helps.

dear friend-i think what your car needs is conditioner to soften the seals and valve body,if this does not work you wil have to remove the valve body and clean.

My nissan maxima stalls

Every answer here is wrong. This has been driving people nuts for 15 years. The problem is the engine wiring harness which has a bend going past the right strut tower, Nissan had a service bulletin on this in September of 1999, Google it, it's in pdf.

My air conditioner stop working on 95 maxima which fuse should I check

You need to provide more information, there are many things that could prevent it from working- not just a fuse. Is the fan blowing in the car? Does the compressor clutch engage? Have you done anything to the system lately?

1995 nissan maxima stalling issue

Try checking the harness to your fuel pump, run a ground wire somewhere onto gastank from body of vehicle but must be rust and paint free or a ground wont contact (dont weld or put screws into tanks maybe the edge or corner can be cleaned and a tiny hole - use a brass wire brush that wont spark eh, or if there is a leak in lines you are sucking air lol but that would be more sputtering and hard starting. that thing is old and inside tank rusty perhaps and sucking this rust into filter and another filter on fuel pump & pick-up tube if pump is inside the tank, some vehicles have a port under the back seat to access fuel pump & sending Unit. The fuel pump relay could be pitted so switch that with one of the others with same numbers, there is a big steel ring around fuel pump *& sending unit access port to seal it and this area has to be cleaned so you tap the ring into unlock position tapping with hammer and brass punch so as not to spark, be extremely careful as rusty lines could break - once the ring is turned the sending unit will come out of tank being careful to not damage the float that is attached which runs to a rheostat to give you your fuel level. once the fuel pump is out you can carefully disassemble and replace with a new or used pump from reputable used auto sales, but never pay 400 for complete sending unit that's for the rich & lazy. when the fuel pump comes out put a rag in the hole as any spark is a boom! So, check filter at end of the pump and pick up tube and shake and tap and rust debris out of fuel pump can connect to a cheap 9 volt adapter (never the car battery (too many amps) but a 9-Volt rectangular battery is ok like the kind in a smoke detector!! or 9 volt DC power adapter with 300 milliwatts just for a few seconds to see if pump pumps, or perhaps in reverse for just a second or 2 to pump out old dirt but needs to be submerged in fuel to do so which is totally dangerous so ya not for everybody and be good to know the polarity and just brush the wires together for the first tests and I dont actually suggest all or any of this for anyone to actually do this as I have in the past but if you are brokea$$ and gotta, then just dont blame me for your stupidity of you make a mistake or deem this rediculous but this is backyard style. just a few tips... sounds very difficult but likely something simple. \I would invest in the cheap bluetooth OBDII auto diagnostic tool on Ebay for 10. or so. Every car should have one and or everyone! Dont pay dealer 90$, Good luck. give us feedback if your issue is solved, that gives us incentive and ways to solve your problems, sorry im not so eloquant but try some of the simpler things first. Thanks

I replaced the battery to a '95 nissan maxima and also disconnect the alarm but it wont start a few hours after disconnecting the alarm

Hi, My advice would be to look for a wire going to the distributor then remove the wire that is part of old alarm system, you should only have one wire going to the distributor. Plugs should not be problem as it started at the dealers. Please leave me feed back Malcolm Campbell, [email protected] Thanks.
