you will have to open it up and take apart the blu ray drive to manually eject the disk, OPENING YOUR PS3 VOIDS ANY REMAINIG WARRANTY YOU MAY HAVE, also be very careful with the ribbon cable on the bottom of the drive, the ZIF connectors are very fragile and break very easy

plug em in and with the playstation on standby hold the button down for 3-5 seconds

The WEP access key is created by the owner/installer of the WiFi account.So, you would need approval from the hotel's owner/manager to access their WiFi - they can provide you with the key.

Try disconnecting your PS3 and then for 10 seconds if that doesn't work, disconnect all jackets meaning all usb connection ports connected in it. Remove them, then turn on your ps3 see what happens (without using the controller), then disconnect the ps3 cord that connects to your extension cord or jacket and plug it back in. Try it again. Then again with the controller could try. Try disconnecting other ports such as other stuff like as listed, Irons,Fans, etc.           !!!!!!DON'T USE TOO MUCH POWER!!!!

I have had lot's of problems with generic controllers. My personal opinion is to take it back and get your money back, if you don't want to do that try going into the device manager and do a manual pairing.

Blinking red light on your Playstation 3 may have happen because of misplaced cable connections or a malfunctioning hard drive or a non functioning hard drive. You can try to check your cable connections if all of them are connected properly. If it does, try reinstalling your hard drive.
You can reinstall your hard drive by removing the hard drive from the PS3. Dust off the connectors and gently put it back to your PS3. Try doing it for three times if it work.
If it does not work, you can bring it to a Sony service center and have them check the problem.

Have you recently plugged the ps3 into another TV?

Try resetting the ps3 back to default.

1. Hold down the power button the ps3 system to turn it on and keep holding the button after the ps3 comes on
2. You should then hear another beep and the ps3 will reset both the audio and the video to default settings.

Hello there,
Video games, just like DVD, have regional restrictions placed on them. If you buy a game from Europe, you will only be able to play them on consoles designed to work in Europe. This is the same for Japan, America, Australia, etc. Unfortunately, there is no legal way for you to be able to play a Japanese bought game on an American system or vica versa.

Well if your using the older model of PS3's (FAT ones) what you can do to attempt to fix it is power off your ps3. Press and hold the power button, you'll here a beep. keep holding until you hear two beeps quickly( e.g. beepbeep) one you hear that, let go of the power button. If done correctly you will see a screen that has some options on it. The option you want is Restore File System. If that does not fix it, and continue's to tell you that the Hard Drive is corrupted, then you need to buy a new hard drive unfortunately.

Hiya Gina, The mysterious code you say you can't find, I think this is the Admin password, Usually found on the back of the router. The first number you entered was most likely to be the wireless key. If you can't find the admin password on your router, then look through your paperwork from Sky. Failing that give Sky a call. They will transfer you to their broadband help department who should tell you your admin password. You will then have to create a new one once your up and running.

This is what you need to hook up to the net for your PS3
1.You need a MODEM which is the "box thing" that connects to your pc.
1. You need a ROUTER which connects to your MODEM and in to your PC. The router allows for both the PC and the PS3 to use the internet at teh same time. Unplug the wire that goes into your PC and plug into your ROUTER so that the modem is connected to the router not the PC
3. You need to connect your PS3 to the router with an ethernet cable and your PC to the router with an ethernet cable
4. Go to that web site and follow the instruction on how to set up and account on your PS3 and get going online and have fun!! Good luck!

Are you seeing any flashing red/yellow lights?

If so this is the red light error and you will find that is why the system will not turn on.

Why Does It Happen?

The GPU and the CPU are the 2 main chips in the system and they deal with all of the number crunching however they can get very hot and if they lose connection the system will either freeze up or turn off and give you the red flashing light.

How To Fix?

The key is stopping the heat build up and you can either send it in and they will fix it for you.

Bear in mind that for the PS3 red flashing light error you will be waiting for about 4 weeks and it will also cost you $150 for the repair bill!

Other Ways To Fix?

You can also use a good PS3 Repair Guide to fix it and this will show you how to stop the heat build up with a few household items.
