There could be a trojan in one of the pc's that is leaking into the xbox making it run bad. Believe it or not, it was happening to our xbox. 3 pc's on one modem wireless, all were fine but one and the xbox 360 was direct into the modem via ethernet. We'd take my sons pc off line and the xbox would work great. Put the pc back online (connected to wireless) and the connection on xbox was back to awful.

Check and see if that's the problem.

You can solve this issue by cleaning the motor bearing. You have to open up your xbox and take off the cover to your drive. Then plug it back to see what the disc is doing. Just go ahead and remove the motor, clear out the old grease, re lubricate the motor and put it back together.

When you go to options does it ask you which resolution you want?

Basically while the 360 is booting up hold down Y and Right trigger

Well I would make sure both the disks and the disk drives are clean.

hat's an indicator of a hardware problem with the console connection to one of the parts connected to it as the hard drive or cables.

so first disconnest all wires, wait a couple minutes and plug everything back in and turn it on. if its still red then its a HDD issue. take the HDD out and turn the 360 back on. if it works then you just need a new HDD,.
and if that doesnt work, then its just a system error and youll need a new one.

Its is most likely a Audio/video connection problem which is caused by a bad cord. All you need to do is change it!

firstly are you using a cable to your wireless router or a wireless adapter from your xbox 360?

if you are using a wireless connection i suggest you first connect to the xbox using the wire provided with your xbox and connect it into your router,

As of now only the platinum collection games are able to be played on the 360

Replace the drive in the 360. The laser isn't reading the games properly. You could also try replacing the laser as well but replacing the drive is easier.

make sure upnp is enabled on your router. if you dont know how to do this, let me know what make and model router youre using and ill send instructions.

Someone must of reformatted the hard drive. If you have xbox live then recover your gamertag and you should get most of your stuff back, if not then it's lost.

setting up an xbox to a pc is easy just change your wireless setings to shared if u dont know how just look it up on youtube

Make sure your connected to the internet.

use an ethernet cable and link your console to your router,go to your gametag,then join xbox live,fill in all the spaces including a valid email address,when it says join gold click no and it will give you a month for free.happy gaming

This can be caused by a dirty laser in the drive. Try cleaning the laser with a q-tip and alcohol. If this does not fix the problem, the laser may need to be replaced. Contact Microsoft and see if the unit is still under warranty.

you need to point it out to the store that the problem is only isolated to the disc you have. in this case it is safe to say that you can demand for a disc replacement

1. check the battery
2. switch on the button (big X), it will search for the pairing at the same time press the censor button which is in the near (lb) button
3. as soon as u press censor button on the xbox system which is in below memory card slot

I ended up isolating my network from the internet by disonecting the modem, then turning off my internet security, then my Xbox connected fine. After they connected I reenabled my security and reconnected to the internet. Everything works fine now.
